- The Middle Eastern Students' Association at York University & the Arab Students' Association at Seneca College have worked together and brought to you their first Dabke Flash Mob at York University at the Student Centre.
MESA & ASA Executive team.
I think that it is wonderful that this young people are carrying on the cultural traditions of their heritage, and that they are sharing it with others. My grandparents were Sicilian and I know of the dancing, but never had the opportunity to learn it. I do carry on the traditions of special holiday foods, family stories and the Italian language. Bravo!

This makes me even prouder to be Palestinian, no matter how much we go through, we still have faith and fight for what we believe in no matter what everybody says or thinks. It makes me really happy when these kind of things are still happening around Europe, America anywhere in the world. The best part is we're able to embrace our culture without giving a damn about what people around us think. It's not about religion, it's about us fighting for what's rightfully ours, nothing else
