    Im a first beta bike owner and can't believe how great it is to ride. Im new to the sport. If yamaha had an electric start on the 250x, i would've bought it, but it didn't. I wanted to buy a sherco 250 factory, but the dealer had a replica bike with some dudes name and number on it, so i couldn't. Tried to buy a beta 250re, but dealer mislabled a rr bike. So said to hell with it, I'll get a 2023 200re beta because that was the only race edition they had. Couldn't be happier. Everyone said the kyb suspension was stiff. Im with gear 195ish. Suspension is mint. Love it.

    After four Yamaha WR 450’s I have to say, I love my 2023 Beta 300RR! Best purchase decision I could have made. Your in-depth overview is one of the best on TH-cam. Great job.

    I recommend installing the rtech frame guards. They provide protection to the subframe. My boot wore through mine😅

    Seriously when was the last time anyone foweld a plug on anything newer than a 2010 model? If you’re fowling plugs your bike is so poorly tuned you should not be allowed to ride. My 23 300 has a removable exhaust port as well. These bikes are perfect for 90% of the public out of the box. Beyond excellent.

    Nice overview, didn't know about that removable exhaust header. It's cool that you're putting the oil injection on an RE.
    Have you ridden the 200RE? Looking for some comparison thoughts between that an the 300RE to help me decide between them this spring.
    Thx

      Infact I have, the 200 to my riding stye feels closer to the power delivery rates closer to the 300 than they 250 does. It feels just as linear as the 300 just with less torque but no less predictable. IMO

    How strong is the stator? Wanting to setup a radiator fan.

      Should absolutely handle the fan if you switch to an LED headlight.

      We have been rocking three 2014s and two 2017s, so this is a pretty big change.

      Yeah my 17 300 would go through exhaust o-rings every 5 hours. I wish it had a removable Ex port. But hey, I’m on a 23 300 now so I’m good

    My 24 300 rr race edition has been a awesome bike so fat. Way better bike then my 23 300 sherco 300. My beta does not have that emobilization next to the clutch lever tho.. 🤷‍♂️. I got it in January.

      We promptly removed it as Beta was recommending it would have issues with battery draining.

    No, not a little bit of difference, a lot of difference to the Yamaha, Only Yamaha get the A kit.

      No, it's not just valving, it's the springs and the whole package. My mate has the Yamaha with KYB, I rode that many times and that set up is great. I bought a Beta RE with the alleged KYB, I ended up having to spent stupid $$ on them to get it right, and in the end, it wasn't much better than the previous set I had with WP. @@ephriamjudah1056

      A-kit is not a stock suspension term. If you want an A-kit you have to pay for it through a pro level suspension tuner. The benefit is that the KYB is considered the best stock fork you can get. In stock form it’s better than most weekend guys have ever ridden. Go pay 1,500 for your A-kit tuning front and back. But most weekend guys don’t need that

    • @philipsmith6152
      @philipsmith6152 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The A-Kit is my terminology...What I meant was you don't get the same set up in Beta/Sherco etc, you get in Yamaha. I've riden all of them, and owned a beta RE, the Yamaha KYB set up is far superior in stock trim, the others are not much better than WP imho. @@utahdesertrider1806
