- Sergio grows mangos in Loxahatchee, Florida where growing conditions are very different from those at Truly Tropical. He talks about the mango varieties that he's had success growing in his area.
Great information! Thanks Sergio!
Great video. This was great info.
Wow. Great rundown. I’m on SW coast but like to hear of potential varieties and their common issues. Thank you!
Great video. I’m in Jupiter Farms so about 11 miles from the ocean. Just starting an orchard

My fully grown mature peach cobbler tree (which is grown in western broward county) has had issues with scab and anthracnose and internal breakdown. Also it never has been a good producer and the crops are always light, but when they do end up fruiting they end up being not clean at all. The area that the tree is in is probably about the same distance west as loxahachee so that’s one I wouldn’t put time into if I had to do it all over again.
What about Super Alphonso?
Super Alphonso does well for us here at the farm in Delray Beach, Florida. We have recently top worked a mature tree to Super Alphonso to increase the fruit we have for sale of this very popular variety.
Um, um, um um um um.......thanks for the info
Um I didn’t realize I saying it so often 😂 um I tend to do that when I get out on the spot 🤷♂️ Um YW for the info 🥴
