Cement Revenge
This is why, along with HOAs, that I purchased my forever home in a rural area. My neighbors are all of the same mind... caring, considerate and always available to help. They never intrude and they know that if my barbecue is running, they are more than invited to come and share. They taught me how to run a tractor, care for my land, they even clear my driveway when it snows and refuse any money for any of that... it is just done out of the kindness of their hearts. They describe it thusly: We either help each other, or die alone.

Exaggerated self importance. She's her own worst enemy. So many people like this that can't understand they are the ones creating the problems around them.
A few decades back, we had someone constantly driving up onto the grassy bank of our front yard. They were damaging our yard. Dad and I dug a trench at the bottom of the bank. Two feet deep, a foot and a half wide, thirty feet long. Later that night, a guy knocks on the door, wanting to use our phone (before the age of cellphones) to call help. Dad refused. I guess the guy found a neighbor to borrow their phone. The truck was gone next morning. Never had him do that again. I now own this property, the trench is still there. 😅

Sounds all contrived. Might as well call these “Biden Bedtime Stories.” Parking patrol don’t bark lawful commands and don’t carry handcuffs.
