Yes I got 4 of these when I opened my LLC in North Carolina. All of them were different prices. I had no employees so I had no reason pursue it, and then when I started getting other letters, I realized it was a scam. I also remember getting the certificates as well. Glad someone did a video on this.

Is it easier having an online buisness thn a physical location regarding a LLC?

Tricky question bc it depends on the business.
If your online business is doing sales in many states there could be things to consider from a tax and liability standpoint. Kind of depends on how things shake out as some states in the past have tried to collect taxes for online sales that occur in their state even if you’re located elsewhere.
Physical location depends on the type of business how much liability there will be.
Setting the LLC up it will be the same process either way.
