Nate Kern is an amazing guy to meet and learn from. What a treat to get to ride those bikes.

That's amazing. This bike will make me faster on the track than I'm capable can. With all these electronics I can just concentrate on my breaking makers and racing line not to mention the safety that comes along with it.

We both said "wow" at the electronics at the same time. Lol

All electronics are great and will continue to be great under one condition: remain optional. As long as there's an OFF button please add more.

Technology is wonderful, but technology also takes away the equation of rider skill/talent/technique required to master the bike, plus it makes for a rather boring race to watch since just about everything is preset or programmed. No doubt the racer has the skill to handle the bike, but would be more fun to see them really managing the bike without the electronic aid.

Is it just me or does anyone else miss tinkering on the bike in the garage on a Sunday morning, giving it a little tune up and general little jobs. I like the riding benifits of electronic stuff but they have killed off the days of doing your own repairs.

Not in South Africa it's not. Our infrastructure simply won't reliably upload files big enough to enable such hi-res vids. We shoot the stuff in HD, but it's a mission of epic proportions to get it uploaded to You Tube like that. We're a country that suffers regular load-shedding (not enough electricity to go around), so they turn parts of the country 'off' in order to cope. Our nationalised electricity provider has informed the populace that we'll be experiencing daily outages for several years to come. I'm afraid it's only going to get worse, so there's a real possibility we could lower the res further or just not bother in future...

Bike just needs a LCD dash. Then it would be perfect.
