Hi, I am unable to get its cover and socket separate from each other. Tried force fully to do it. But not working.in ur video it came out easily, but for me after pulling out from boot switch assembly next step to separate upper connector is pending pls help. Is there any lock/latch to press..

You can buy at electric/ auto shops or if showroom is near then buy from there .
Show the same picture at local shop to get easily.

Nice. I also ordered boot lamp and just now got the delivery of the product. Is there option of getting positive wire from boot door itself instead of getting it from A pillar? Just scared of removing the so many panels
We need to find out the wire which have always current that’s why I have taken connection from A pillar .
Because when our car is not ON still boot lamp should be work .. right that the our major intention.
I tried but not found at rear side .
But for -Ve you can give connection at rear side .
Yeah I know removing panel of new car is scary but it’s removing easily don’t try to put more force otherwise some clips will broken .
I have used spring wire to passes the +Ve wire so I have not removed more panels .
Just A piller and driver side piller that’s it.
During connection if you have any doubt call me on my given number in about section.

Wont this wire connection create a short circuit, and disable the car system i want to add the boot light but im in fear what it might do connecting like this😖 if it started short circuit and disable a car system

Hi @Jeevan, i have followed the steps that you have mentioned boot light is working finee..... But there is a problem that i am facing , are you facing it too ??? Generally when we swith on cabin lights and lock the car through remote after few seconds all lights will go off right?? But after this lights are not going off and still continue to glow even after we locked the car . Pls check once, We need to find another socket instead of socket in "A" pillar which is affecting the behaviour of cabin lights.

Muje elite i20 2018 k wiring k bare jyada idea nhi he fir niche me instructions batata hu.
1.apko +ve wire dundani he jaha hamesha currunt ho, like roof light
2. Apko agar light auto on off chayiye to boot me negative connection dena padega
Otherwise aap on off ka switch lagake -ve wire body ko connection de skte ho
3. Apke car k suitable boot light order kro

sir maine dashbord se +ve wire and boot door se -ve wire nikal li and bulb bhi chal pda.but vo boot door band hone pe auto off ni ho raha.lagatar chalta rehta hai,kya maine -ve wire galt lga li ?

See we need 2 connections first one is from A pillar where always have current (12v) and 2nd one is for ON/Off from boot .
Just find out the exact source .
Just take care from A pillar don’t know the wiring is same or not ? But if yes then you can follow the steps

Yes we can turn off the light manually even boot is open .
For that you have to press the boot lock using screwdriver when boot is open .
You can see the the results.
