    There is a big difference between the Spanish races and the American. It will be cool when our sport becomes super-international, and we have tons of track variations for wheels to compete on. The ET is a beast, yet it wouldn't be the best on a super twisty track. Lynx won't beat the Max on longer tracks. Also, rider size is a key factor!
    Always good to hear Maribel's take on a wheel, She's not a paid actor for leaperkim so she won't hype the Lynx like some of the people totting this wheel as the final form best ever wheel!!

    Set pedal mode to 12% soft mode and never look back. You might also want to calibrate the wheel left to right as well as level. If it is not calibrated properly left to right you will get forward/backward tilting behavior depending on which way you are turning.
    The pedals are quite close to the axle. This takes getting used to.
    62lbs spring is on the stiff side for a light rider like you. Set dampening to softest -1. Set rebound to six clicks from slowest. You would want to set some preload on it as well. There is a guide on TH-cam and Ronnie wrote a guide on EUC Forum (the actual forum not FB).
    It's around 8mph faster than the EXN. The EXN is no slouch though as you know.

      I will try - how do you brake with soft mode? On soft side, the wheel feels to be 2sec delayed on breaking. For me personally that biggest bummer - in my city, I need to stop offent from 40 to 0.

      @@danoseus drop down fast get really low and grab the handle for leverage as you squeeze your knees on the wheel, my chest is basically touching the top back of the seat when I brake hard

      Hey food! Is the full calibration difficult? If I take tight turns it's not supposed to dip?

    • @isthereanyfood
      @isthereanyfood 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@danoseus I have a much easier time braking on soft mode vs hard mode. Getting back to speed is a bit of an issue though since the wheel is tilted back for quite some time. I don't ride with hard pads so though so I can just lean a bit more forward to accelerate.

    • @isthereanyfood
      @isthereanyfood 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@rob8855 The side to side calibration can be tricky and if not done properly then the pedals will tilt forward or backward depending on if you are turning left or right. I wish the pedals tilted a bit more during tight turns haha... it would make it a bit easier.

    I don't know if I can enjoy the Lynx with firmware pedal dipping, that's pretty bad in my eyes, hate hate hate how that feels. Firm all the way. I hope that's something they can fix, but I doubt it if they haven't already.

    It's difficult to watch videos without understanding anything lol, I'm from Brazil and there's no content from Linx or the top EUCs. I really want to buy Linx, from what I see I don't know yet but it seems to be the best wheel at the moment. But here in Brazil it is still not for sale anywhere, only advance purchase.

    • @MVFIT

      Sluggish off the line…
      Even on hard mode the pedals are soft kinda like a boat rocking . I feel it when I’m making a sharp turn. I wish leaperkim could make this setting adjustable like how begode has it.
      Such a small detail but important to me..

    How dare you give your honest opinion! You have to say its the best wheel to ever exist like every other youtuber!! j/k, GREAT REVIEW! The Lynx seems to be wobble prone, Roger just crashed his brand new lynx due to wobbles. The Commander GT pro seems to be your favorite out of the big 3 ( ET-max, Lynx and GT PRO)

    • @kaygee1623
      @kaygee1623 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Wobbles has nothing to do with the wheel but the Rider.
      You can have a wobble on any wheel.

    • @ConsilienceDVO
      @ConsilienceDVO หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@kaygee1623 Disagree, some wheels are way more prone to wobbles than other wheels. Although experience can help mitigate the wobbles not all wheels are the same. My Extreme is prone to wobbles way more than my Commander Pro. And of course any wheel can wobble. But to say all wheels are equal to wobbles is completely wrong. That's why so many lowering kits are being sold for the Lynx. But believe what you want. I don't care

      @@ConsilienceDVO I've got 2000+ miles on the Lynx. Wheel is an absolute beast, and my first pick if I'm racing that track. ET Max arriving very soon, I expect to make that wheel go even faster, and on a track that has more straights, it is likely going to be my go-to. Like she says, you need to try these wheels out. If I'm on a Lynx, the wheel is not the reason that I would win or lose. Everybody is racing the Lynx.

    • @SunStormMosk
      @SunStormMosk หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I have Lynx. It is prone to wobble (compare to my ex30). You have to set your pads and pedal settings right to mitigate this. And learn how to tame it.

    As a owner of 4 wheels atm & a lynx owner as well, I 100 % think this will place on podiums in the states as it is definitely a race wheel (depends on rider tho.) just like it is in spain. This is **imo the best race wheel for road and off-road. that is weird for me as I always bought begode wheels (until now ).
    I seriously think you do not have this dialed in properly as the angle you set it makes a huge difference in launch. Try -2.0 to -3.5 & will have you flying out of the gate. also if it is too much rebound all you need to do is stiffen the rebound but make sure you have the pre-load right first. I do think if you had time you would have the lynx dialed in to the point where u understand why it is all the talk.
    When I rode wheels that werent mine it isn't the same esp with face ace suspension.
    I know everyone has diff opinions & I really like to hear yours as I enjoyed your take & appreciate the video .
    Have fun & good luck this season.
    Good Luck

      To talk about racing…. As my video is pertaining to RACING.
      The Lynx is doing well in Spain because they have races going on. None of their top riders are on a begode…
      I did changed the preload and the rebound , made it as stiff as I could. I always ride my wheels tilt forward to atleast 3-4 degrees.
      But your missing the point here… the pedals are soft on the lynx compare to the master …
      The master turns better than the lynx.
      I am not saying the lynx won’t do well on a race….still waiting here in the USA for riders to race it.
      The lynx just does Not meet my needs for track racing atm..

      I get what Maribel was saying...I got 4 wheels too, EX30, extreme, s22 and 50s lynx... in terms of accessing power, EX30 is much easier to obtain,maybe for lighter weight riders...yes you will get used to it but it's just too obvious . I can imagine Master v4 with EX30 controller, that would surely have more spontaneous acceleration due to lighter wheel too

    • @revolutionaries007

      @@MVFIT Thats fine any I wish you the best on a master vs the lynx. Rider makes alot of the difference & I dont know what U mean but "soft pedals? either you lynsx is faulty or the firmware is glitch because they hard hard mode putting it to 100% and they will not move & I am 6'4" 270 lbs. I dont know if you are talking about the pedals themselves ot the the hard mode in the firmware but I have NEVER heard anyonesay the hard mose is soft & I own the wheel since Dec. I am just confused as I owned a master & Own a ex-30 & extreme right now with my lynx and the ride nmode is as hard as any begode wheel I own and actually harder due the the torque & at my size most wheels over torque easy and pedal dips but not the lynx... again I dont know your software but it really doesnt matter as it is your review and your opinion & that is awesome.
      I appreciate your thought on these things and while it isnt a perfect wheel ( none are yet!) the Lynx does more for me than any wheel i own and I am happy but I still love my ex-30 & extreme- (not as much tho.
      Also I think you made a good point as those riders mostly had lynx's and that should show what alot of riders think of the wheel. I cant wait for dirt races.
      TBH it doesnt matter. I wish you the best on your v4 master this yr is that is what you are racing on and look forward to seeing you win .
      cheers.
