this really helps my add with reading. I usually get lost in many sentences and have to re-read them, but with this ive been powering through it, understanding what im reading the whole time.
Hi Janis, it's very pleasing to know that this has helped you with your work. Thanks for your feedback and for being so open and honest about yourself. You obviously have a strong desire to help people (and yourself, which is very important), which has probably increased further with the adversity you have faced. You should keep drawing strength from your progress so far, and use that to fuel your determination and motivation to graduate. Good luck with your studies! Jason :)
Thanks Pamela, I feel privileged to be the receiver of your first TH-cam comment. It's great to hear how this has helped you. Jason :) ...I hate doing my books too!
its just so perfect... exactly the kind of music i needed to study with focus.. thank you so much... its a great help for students like me ... this world is still a better place because of selfless people like you !! god bless ! :)
+Sharfa Junglee Hi Sharfa, as a general rule, you shouldn't listen to tracks using Beta frequencies (12Hz+) too close to bedtime, as that is the more alert and focused state you are in during the daytime. It would be similar to having a cup of coffee just before you go to bed, and would likely affect you getting to sleep. I'd say at least an hour gap before bedtime would be best. However, it is fine to listen to it while you are studying or working and lots of people use it that way.
ive been wondering if these videos were merely placebo effects ; but im starting to think otherwise the further i let the waves progress. im not saying there bad and all , i find these sounds quite peaceful
This really works! I sometimes have trouble staying focused when I have to read my long chapters of my physiology textbook and writing notes simultaneously. But when I listen to this I can stay focused on reading for 1 hour straight or more. Usually I get distracted within 15-20 minutes. It's helping me study for my final exam this week. Thanks so much!
Wow I was doing some gaming and SUCKING terribly at it.. I rage quit and went into my bedroom where I usually do meditation.. Instead I decided to check out one of these "brain power" or "Cognitive enhancing" videos.. 20 minutes I sat in a meditative state with this in headphones playing feeling calm but little difference.. So I go back out and turn the PS4 on, hop onto some Star Wars Battlefront and TORE THAT GAME UP. First game I hopped into I went 31-6 (kills-deaths ratio). I don't game often since I am a father and have a busy life.. But it is nice to see the effects of meditation and these "clearer thoughts" videos take place in a matter of half an hour.. Thank you!!!
This frequency helps! Blocks out random thoughts. I'm unable to drift off in my mind. Feels strange when you're trying to recreate images of memories in your head.
In Nursing School. This has helped with doing case studies. Really keeps my focus. Plus I have 3 children which as you know are not very quiet, so I stick in the headphones and its peaceful and drowns out my kids not to mention I had 16 ECT's (Electric Convulsion Therapy) 5 years ago (was in a dark place in my life)My husband was killed by a drunk driver. I'm surprised I made it this far with school due to concentration problems. People like you I relate to. Thank you for putting this together and helping others. This TRULY WORKS, for all you skeptics out there.I just want to graduate in the field of Mental Health so I can help others :)
this is really nice!! I feel calm and relaxed, and very focused. I have eliminated my environment around me, and focused on my assignment alone. I love this!!
+Corey B - Hi Corey, your brain consists of approximately 75% water and requires a regular supply of it to function well and stay healthy. When you listen to this type of stimulation it increases the electrical activity and blood flow in your brain. It's a bit like the way your car uses up more fuel when you drive it faster, but instead of more petrol/gas, your brain needs more water. If you don't stay hydrated when you are making your brain work harder, it can give you a headache.
Jason, I'm always amazed at this type of information about hydrating the brain.... I know people who are very focused, to the point it's hard to get their attention when they are doing most things such as studying or even immersed in a movie, and they drink little water. Yet I drink almost 2L water a day, not including other liquids and my mind is constantly picking up everything around me, instead of focusing on a task and shutting out the world!
Aida N It's possible that they are getting the hydration they need from the food they consume. So although they aren't visibly drinking glasses of water very much, they are probably getting what they need from other sources.
It is a Japanese ceremony tea which gives you an energy boost of 3-6 hours and 137 times the antioxidants of your regular steeped green tea. But the person must be in a healthy diet, better if vegetarian. And the brain thing, yeahs water helps, but does nothing for a brain without a proper diet, cos to have electricity in the whole body, the diet has to be alkaline (good acids from raw/fresh veggies/fruits and some nuts/seed/grains), the meat can be replaced by green veggies, fruits, nuts/seed/grains, cocoa, and the powerful Spirulina, Nuts and seeds has more proteins and good oils than in meat, and the body spends much less energy to separate these goodness.
I have ran into your songs a few hours ago and I am very impressed. Within minutes I noticed a positive change. Thanks to you, I have a better mindset, concentration, less headaches and mood swings, and I can't thank you enough.
I listen to your tracks all the time for studying. It's absolutely amazing how much it does help. I need some sort of sound or I go crazy. And regular music is simply too distracting. This puts me into an alert, yet calm and focused zone.
Thank you so much! I went from studying 3 pages an hour to studying one page in 7 minutes. I am actually really stressed for an exam tomorrow but this really helped
I listened to this the other day while I was writing a paper for my American Literature class and today I got the paper back and I had received 100% on it, he told me it was my best paper so far. Could just be a coincedence but nevertheless this did really help me focus on it. Thank you!
Hi Agata, this track shouldn't normally make you feel sleepy, but it may be that you were already a bit tired before you listened. If you didn't use headphones before, give it a try with some on, as using them often helps to create a stronger stimulation effect. You might also want to try my Mental Workout video as that is a bit more intense. Jason (P.S. it looks like you've disabled replies on your comment, so I couldn't reply to your comment directly)
I applied for a job online while I was searching for jobs on Craigslist listening to your music. Usually I don't listen to anything to get things done because I always feel distracted. It made me a little more focused than normal.
This keeps me focused on my work and it sounds great as a person with ADHD this helps a lot thank you for this fine piece of study music is what I'd call it lol
After about 30 minutes of listening, These sound get me into a really focused state of mind. It's really comfortable doing work when focused. it's like you're on an airplane but the noise isn't as brutal to the ear.
Hi Alexandru, you're right the higher frequencies like 17Hz and above are also linked to anxiety, stress and fear, but you have to look at this in the right context. The low frequencies are linked to depression and tiredness, but people strive to meditate down to them. If you are stressed and anxious, listen to sessions that bring your dominant frequency down. For depression, low energy or focus you listen to higher frequencies. It's about using them in the right way at the right time. Jason
I was doing homework for the first few minutes of this video. Then I started to think of getting old. I started to think of how the immortality of my 20's is almost gone. Then I began to think of my father, an 80 year old brilliant man. He must be a good parent, as I think of him so highly. I thought of how sad it would be when he died, and how depressed my siblings would be as we have not yet had to deal with the death of a loved one yet in our lifetime. Life is so short. I began to wonder if it was cruel to bring children into this world. If I bring a child into existence, I would do so knowing that I would meet my demise and, considering I am a good father and I raise good kids, they will ultimately go through a state of depression when I die. But then again, the little time we would have shared together in this life would make it all worth it. As I pondered the emotional disparities of my future descendants, I thought of how all my ancestors have experienced what I am to go through. My grandfather died 30 years before I was born, but surely my father was deeply saddened by his death and felt that feeling that we all will... the disappearing of an energy that was once so much a part of your world, so vital to your own existence. My grandfather experienced it with his father, and he with his father, and so on and so forth. And not to mention all the mothers, brothers, sisters, friends, so on and so forth. I just mention fathers as my own is the nearest to returning to star stuff in my family. It really is a shame how short this life is... all the knowledge we attain, the relationships we make... it really doesn't feel like we get to really get good use of it all. I hope our descendants will find the secret of extending the human life span... but, then again, maybe that life will seem just as short to them. Who knows? Looks like the video did help with focusing... maybe next time I will focus a little more on my homework!
I often wonder about this too... And yes life is short, but if you spend every single last bit of time with your friends and family, it all seems to slow down a bit. Maybe that's just me. I'm not sure. I'd rather focus on making as many happy memories as possible. It just makes everything more worth it and something to smile about in the future.
Really helping with long sessions of revision, i tried classical and various BINaural waves etc, but this is helping a hell of a lot more, it's really helping mr to stay focused and work towards achieving the grades i need to get in the up coming exams which are only a couple of weeks away, thank you so much for all your help.
I love this channel! Thank you, Mr. Lewis, for these videos. They work wonders when one has slight ADHD. With all the schoolwork promised to me in Honors Freshman English, MindAmend will be a BIG help.
I studied while using this video and did two exams, once with and once without this. The first time, I scored an 89; which is low for me. The next I scored a 97. These tones make a huge difference. Thank you so much for your help and generosity in posting this.
I found that though I didn't particularly enjoy the sounds, they do help me focus. I wasn't studying, but I needed help concentrating on some history text. It really does help. I actually stumbled upon it earlier when I searched for videos of dogs barking, because I find my dog's reaction to be entertaining, and from there to sounds of blue whales, and then here.
+JustAnother Idea - There hasn't been enough research into the technology yet, to determine exactly how long the effects last for afterwards, but I wouldn't expect it to last the whole day, if you just listen to this for the first time in the morning. You will feel the strongest effect while you are listening to it and then for a short time after it. It depends on what you do afterwards. If you listen to this and then go sit somewhere quiet and relax, your brain is probably going to relax quite quickly and your focus level will drop. But if you carry on working, studying, problem solving etc., you'll be able to keep maintaining that higher level of focus for much longer.
I always have problems with being "entertained" while studying but once I got used to the soundtrack it satisfied my tendances to get distracted. Thanks!
wow man, that's great really working for me. For the first time I hear about this and I really enjoy the focus state :D. I am browsing your website right now and I think your work is great! Keep it up!
I have tried out many different sessions and this one has by far worked the best for me! every single time i start off without motivation, but then every single time after a minute or two i forget about that and i am completely focussed and concentrating on the shit i have to do. seriously, no need to look any further! its also the first one to appear when you type in "concentration waves" . SO Thank you for this!
This track always makes me feel like Im on a mini research submarine, slowly descending deep into the depths of the Mariana Trench, plus the feeling of claustrophobia. Also reminds me of the The Abyss.
Epic117Man Ah the abyss, welcome to nowhere Epic man, your journey will be meaningless, devoid of emotion and so mind numbingly boring as you will wish the abyss farewell.
Hey, I just want to drop by and say a BIG thank you for this. I am working on my thesis now and it REALLY helps! It does its trick on me lol im not even lying. Its been a month and i couldnt even start to work on my thesis because every time i start to work i feel so hard to focus and i always procrastinate. and i tried to listen to this this morning and i finally can get focus all day long to work on my thesis, which is a miracle lol. thank you very much may god bless your soul for making this~
A theory as to why this would work: Think back to the time when humans are at their most content and unpolluted with outside forces, back when we are all in the womb as fetuses and hearing our Mothers biological rhythms like heartbeat and taking breaths and the warmth we felt as we were growing from a singularity into who we are, this brings us back to our most basic state of being if we truly open ourselves up to the possibility. Really cool video to stumble upon!
Personally, I think your 'isochronic' and 'ambient study music' are some of the best on TH-cam. I've been using yours for the past few weeks to get my finals done, really find the ambient soundscapes nice, non-distracting-puts me in the mood every time. Thanks!
Hi Toni, yes this is something you can listen to every day during homework. If you listen frequently and want a bit of variety, I also provide this Isochronic Tones track with different background sound options on Mp3. I provide one video version free on TH-cam, and have 7 different Mp3 versions on my website. See link in the 'About' section of the video, if you want more info on the premium version. Jason
Thank you, I want to download them. I know this is crazy, but when I play this he does his homework and when I turn it off he starts talking and doing other things. He has no idea what is going on though.
Thank you so much for this. I've been struggling with ADHD all of my life, and it has only gotten worse since college began. My grades were suffering and I refused to take my Adderall due to the harsh side effects, such as loss of appetite and depression. But I can actually focus on work while listening to this, and my grades and social life have both improved greatly. So again, thank you.
Thanks Nathaniel, it's amazing to think how this has helped you, I'm really pleased for you. It's feedback and stories like yours that inspire me to keep making and sharing more stuff. Jason :)
Nathaniel- I've got the same story, man. Seriously helpful stuff, Jason! Unfortunately, my grades had fallen so far behind that I simply had to get back on Adderall after 3 and half years of being off of it. I just had to catch back up and get current projects finished simultaneously but no joke, my mom had me listening to this stuff as soon as I got back on the meds and it has helped me immensely with keeping calm and staying less anxious. I will absolutely be listening to these MindAmends for a long time to come. Thanks for keeping me a little more at peace amidst the craziness of school and the stress that Adderall puts on me!
Joel Kaiser wtf is adderall? I also have ADHD/ADD, but I had to take Ritalin (I took it 10 years or something), If you know I'm now 20 years old, and I quit taking it when I was 18 years, well you know
Of all the different music that I have listened to on U-tube, I find myself coming back consistently to your videos to bring my concentration into focus. Absolutely fantastic!!!
Wow. I didn't believe this could help. I have serious issues concentrating. Though I have a good memory, my lack of concentration diminish my ability to learn. I have been wandering around while reading some stuff I need to study for tomorrow and let me tell you that ever since I started this video, I have been faster in reading and less prone to vague around. I hope this makes sense and excuse my poor english. Saludos desde Ecuador!
Andrea Hoyos Thanks for your feedback Andrea. I'm pleased to hear this is helping you to focus on your studying. Your English is pretty good and much better than my Spanish will ever be. ;)
I have no idea how, but this HELPS SO MUCH!!! I had a project for school that was going to take about 2 hours, and I searched 'Concentrating Methods' and this came up and it was just a load of random noises and I was thinking 'What the hell?' But I tried it anyway and I suddenly realised I had finished and I looked at the time and it had taken me 1 hour. Thanks!
i went to sleep with this playing... man, talk about a deep sleep with lucid dreams. i woke up and wasn't sure if i was still dreaming or not. and i slept like a rock, i know this because my brain fluids built up in the back of my head (i fell asleep on my back, and woke up on my back) man, i love binural beats, it's even more wonderful when you meditate, and match your vibrations and frequency to that of the beat. it's truly an enlightening experience.
+naveed anjum - Hi Naveed, the music in this video contains isochronic tones, which are a form of brainwave entrainment. After listening for around 6+ minutes, your brainwaves start to fall in sync to the same frequency of the tones. The tones cycle through a frequency range associated with good focus/concentration, and guide your brainwaves through the same range. If you are new to this concept, there is some more info about it on my site here: www.mindamend.com/brain-hub/brainwave-entrainment-methods/how-brainwave-entrainment-works/
***** Hi Megan, I've linked to this page containing information on research into this technology, probably over a hundred times in comments on TH-cam the last two years: www.transparentcorp.com/research/. Have you read through the all the research info and peer reviewed paper on that page? As I've also said many times, I'm not the inventor of this technology or any kind of pioneer. It's been around for many years and I create my videos for people who want to give it a try for free and do my best to advise and answer questions, based on my knowledge of using it and from reading up on the research into it out there. If you don't believe in the technology or the research that has been done, that's okay, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
***** I'm always amazed by the outrage of people on some of these videos and wonder what made them listen in the first place. No one forces you to watch or listen to anything! If you don't "believe" in this type of music, you don't have to listen. Just move on!
***** , he just reply to your post!! do you have any shit to say??? did you read the articles?? I guess not otherwise you would have some shit to say about it!! If its not for you, so let it be, don't be a hater!!
I have been listening to these videos for the last few weeks and have noticed I am better able to focus and concentrate on what I am doing. I am in nursing school and trying to focus for long periods of time, with an almost overwhelming workload, and ADHD makes it very difficult. These sound tracks are wonderful in assisting me in staying focused and drowning out the chaos around me when I am studying and working on assignments. Thank you.
Thank You! I have been feeling very tired and had put off my homework to the last minute. After listening to this, I immediately felt energized and was able to focus and get my essays completed in time. Thank You.
That's amazing, well done! If my music helped you even in a very small way that makes me very proud. But really, you're the one that did it and put in all the hours of hard work and study, so well done you! Jason
The music could be the best medicine for my stress, headache and its gives me a heal secret treatment. Thank you for all this, I so proud of you and all the makers.
+Miranda Çakir - Hi Miranda, it sounds like you were probably a little dehydrated before listening to this. Drink a glass of water before you listen next time, and that should prevent you from getting a dry mouth.
Thank you for uploading this! I am writing my bachelor thesis and it helps me to concentrate over several hours absolutely non-stop. Please more of this :)
This is soothing music I find it very calming on the nerves , thank you for the healing music Jason . I hope all of your goodness comes back to you 3 fold.
The isochronic tones behind the music stimulate your brainwaves. After 5 or 6 minutes your brainwaves start to fall in step with the frequency of the tones. This is called brainwave entrainment. The frequency of the tones are then moved up into a higher frequency range associated with focus and concentration. Your dominant brainwaves are guided along with the frequency of the tones, putting your brain into a peak state for concentration, which is great for studying, reading etc. Jason
Thanks, I appreciate the heads up. I do usually do a scan around TH-cam and report people periodically, but I haven't done it for a couple of months. I just submitted a bunch of copyright claims for copies of this video and a few others of mine and I will be looking for others later. One has already been removed. It always amazes me why they do it because they hardly ever get any views and risk getting their channel shut down and maybe their Adsense account closed.
I guess I haven't commented on this one before, but I wanted you to know that I've been listening to this since 2014 at least, lol. I listened to it while finishing up high school, history especially, so this reminds me of history (which I like). I've also listened to it while writing and painting and daydreaming, just because I love it. THANK YOU for this one! Definitely in my top 3 :)
I'm almost 45 years old and I have ADHD. Discovering music like this as well as binary beats music are a godsend. Thank you for downloading

Thanks Rory, good luck with your exams! :)
I love this channel! Thank you, Mr. Lewis, for these videos. They work wonders when one has slight ADHD. With all the schoolwork promised to me in Honors Freshman English, MindAmend will be a BIG help.
Thanks Charlotte. :)
I studied while using this video and did two exams, once with and once without this. The first time, I scored an 89; which is low for me. The next I scored a 97. These tones make a huge difference. Thank you so much for your help and generosity in posting this.
Thanks for taking the time to do your own personal test, that's a great improvement. :)
The title says it all. It increased my concentration and made me focus on my microbiology exam
Thanks for sharing this! This saved me through my final tests!!!! I was so tired that couldn't focus in my papers!!
Super epic drop at 30:01
Holy shit man
Brilliant.
I always have problems with being "entertained" while studying but once I got used to the soundtrack it satisfied my tendances to get distracted. Thanks!
Too good and instant effect.
I subscribed. Keep it ads free, it is Gem.
this felt so next level recharging (something with feelings of new age, cosmic, spiritual eye-opening etc..)
wow man, that's great really working for me. For the first time I hear about this and I really enjoy the focus state :D. I am browsing your website right now and I think your work is great! Keep it up!
Thanks Costin. :)
Thanks for your feedback Jordan, I'm glad it's working well for you. Jason :)
I love this!!!!! Makes me feel focused while feeling like i'm in heaven :-)
Thanks for your recommendation Raymundo, I appreciate your positive feedback. :)
This track is wonderful for study. I used it repeatedly for my exam prep and it helped me to stay focussed. Thanks Jason!
nothing can replace it in this entire universe
This is so amazing and pulchritudinous 🙆
Hey, I just want to drop by and say a BIG thank you for this. I am working on my thesis now and it REALLY helps! It does its trick on me lol im not even lying. Its been a month and i couldnt even start to work on my thesis because every time i start to work i feel so hard to focus and i always procrastinate. and i tried to listen to this this morning and i finally can get focus all day long to work on my thesis, which is a miracle lol. thank you very much may god bless your soul for making this~
Thanks Andi, it's great to hear how this has helped you, I appreciate your feedback. Jason :)
Very deep interpretation. Sounds so right
Personally, I think your 'isochronic' and 'ambient study music' are some of the best on TH-cam. I've been using yours for the past few weeks to get my finals done, really find the ambient soundscapes nice, non-distracting-puts me in the mood every time. Thanks!
Thanks Xander that means a lot! Jason :)
man I got a A on my test thank you
I never thought this would work but it does! I've noticed that when i turn this on i immediately get more concentrated, thank you!
Joel Kaiser
wtf is adderall? I also have ADHD/ADD, but I had to take Ritalin (I took it 10 years or something), If you know I'm now 20 years old, and I quit taking it when I was 18 years, well you know
Adderall is just another ADHD medicine. Depending on what the doctor thinks he will prescribe either adderall or Ritalin
Or Vyvanse. That's what I was first prescribed
Whoa, this really puts me in the zone for finals. I can immediately tell a difference in my studying. Thanks for the help!
Thanks for your appreciation Michelle and good luck with your finals!
It really works! Almost the only legit thing I found on TH-cam!
Of all the different music that I have listened to on U-tube, I find myself coming back consistently to your videos to bring my concentration into focus. Absolutely fantastic!!!
Thanks Phil, that's really great to hear you say that! It means a lot. Jason :)
Thanks!
This video is amazing!! Been using it for a few years now and I feel like Bradley Cooper on Limitless!!!!!!!!!!!
i went to sleep with this playing... man, talk about a deep sleep with lucid dreams. i woke up and wasn't sure if i was still dreaming or not. and i slept like a rock, i know this because my brain fluids built up in the back of my head (i fell asleep on my back, and woke up on my back) man, i love binural beats, it's even more wonderful when you meditate, and match your vibrations and frequency to that of the beat. it's truly an enlightening experience.

Thank you.
A.C. Winebrenner Thanks for your feedback, I hope this continues to help you with your studying.
Stop reading comments! concentrate on ur work 😁
Anamika Jain u got me

I like reading comments especially for this type of videos..
all sick fellows..mostly here on the day.. just before exam... including me😂😂
Thank You! I have been feeling very tired and had put off my homework to the last minute. After listening to this, I immediately felt energized and was able to focus and get my essays completed in time. Thank You.
+Gabrielle Nickson How did you do? Hope it worked for you.
Thank You! This not only helped me to focus and get my essays done, but I got an A+ on both of them!!!
Thank you.
i´ve pass in my exam.
That's amazing, well done! If my music helped you even in a very small way that makes me very proud. But really, you're the one that did it and put in all the hours of hard work and study, so well done you! Jason
Jason Lewis - MindAmend thanks, but was a blood exam....
Hugosonnyy Hahahahahaha Troll
Hugosonnyy Hahaha)) Lucky you! :D
Wow this helped me get from 50's and 70's to 90's in my classes. :) Thanks a lot for your amazing work! :)
This is so helpful! Thank you! I am highly imaginative, and this noise is helping me control my hyperactive mind. :)
Why the hell do people thumbs down your videos? They actually help! Don't take my word for it! And thank you very much +Jason Lewis - MindAmend
Umani Chandrasekara Thanks Umani. :)
It works better than meditation. Both combined creates a wise person.
Hey Jason, we don't have to talk so scientifically, the sound you create is simply wonderful! That is the best effect I guess.
Perfect, I always healed my brain every single day
The music could be the best medicine for my stress, headache and its gives me a heal secret treatment. Thank you for all this, I so proud of you and all the makers.
Thanks Vansie. :)
I was just on some other bizarre binaural video, which gave me a headache but now after listening to this, my head feels so much better.
Mind Amend you always have the best videos on TH-cam
Thanks, much appreciated. :)
This is soothing music I find it very calming on the nerves , thank you for the healing music Jason . I hope all of your goodness comes back to you 3 fold.
this so true. i start my focusing...and when the music ends...i'm already done what i supposed. tqvm :)
stop reading the comment go study
I am a biology major and this made my life 10x easier , i actually study and focus . i cant thank you enough /
this is super fast study because first im really hard to study but when i found this suler help mee
72 hours studying replaying this music, very helpful... Thank You!
Hare Krishna blessings to all
The isochronic tones behind the music stimulate your brainwaves. Jason
There have been reposts of this video in varying lengths by other TH-cam channels. You should look into that, with your copyright claim.
Thanks, I appreciate the heads up. I do usually do a scan around TH-cam and report people periodically, but I haven't done it for a couple of months. I just submitted a bunch of copyright claims for copies of this video and a few others of mine and I will be looking for others later. One has already been removed. It always amazes me why they do it because they hardly ever get any views and risk getting their channel shut down and maybe their Adsense account closed.
bulletproof coffee + this = the best study time
calm relaxed and extremely focused
I still come back here, when i need to do some work
I have read, studied and done a lot of thinking to this song.
Definitely in my top 3 :)
relaxing for a moment then I wanted the beat to drop
Ive been using this track all semester long and it puts me in the zone! Thanks man
I had to put this at full blast because my mom wouldn't stop playing hipster music.
im so sorry but i laughed way way too hard at this
