Yeeeeesssssss!!!!! Finally !! Man that ,,,its not a one tool option its a one tool with no options!!! Man that hit hard!!!!!!! Thank you so much for this video!!!
I’m new to your channel it all makes sense on what you’re saying about the knife that you want to rely on when you have a life situation to get fire and shelter great video thanks will keep watching your videos
Eagle...great video always have enjoyed your forward thinking perspective. What would be your secondary survival. Example: Mine is Esse 5 & Ontario Rat 7 followed by a huntsman victorinox. Merry Christmas
I have a laser strike that I love, I always wanted to try the 5, but I heard it is bulky and heavy, and I never purchased it. But I agree with your point of view. What do you think about the jaakaripukko in alternative?. Here in Italy we have oak woods, the wood is very hard so carry a very strong knife is a good Idea. I never participated in survival courses, but I'm really interested in it.
Nice one buddy I love the 5, being a bit smaller than you though my survival knife is a Laser strike, it's about 90% full tang and a beautiful size to carry around. Nice vid 👌 great points
The problem is to many armchair survivalists think if they have the most expensive knife they'll be completely safe in a survival situation. The most important tool to carry is a good brain, and the ability to think outside the box. For some reason everyone assumes that a survival situation involves being in a woodland, lets just hope you don't get stuck out at sea, the desert or the artic.
Interesting. You make good points. Thanks
Thoughtful, informative and direct! Great take Shane! Nothing but the naked raw truth.

Thanks for dropping by Steve, I never had a go of the Laser Strike but I always meant to try it.
It's got its down sides, but you know horses for courses, and it's got emergency tinder in the handle too
ordered the esee 5 but got sent the esee 4 liked it so much I just kept it what's your opinion of the esee 4 in carbon 3d scales ??
Brilliant knife but the handle is too small for my hand.
