@@mr.savagexoxo9936 here's an old N.Y. Times article on him.. Dressed like a gentleman cowboy, in a yellow suit with gold buttons, a large sombrero and an ornate pistol at his hip, Mr. Fernandez performed with Mariachi Chapala, a modern mariachi band: violins, trumpets, guitars and electric keyboard. The same group backed his son, Alejandro, and the opener, Graciela Beltran, in a nonstop concert that lasted more than three hours. Vicente Fernandez sang with operatic power and melodrama, sometimes pounding his chest as he sang the word corazon (heart). His voice is an ardent tenor; his verses started out husky and restrained, then opened up with prodigious crescendos and a vibrato that could register on the Richter scale. He sang as if holding nothing back, but his timing was skillful; over the mariachi group's nonchalant bounce, phrases would swell, ease back and rise again. Each surge of sentiment became an occasion, flaunting heroic virtuosity in the face of the lyrics' torment.

His voice and this song ALWAYS brings tears to my eyes. I’ve heard him played in my mother’s home since I was a little girl. To just feel the pain, passion AND hope from behind the words he sings in this song. Ugh! 😩 wonderfully OUT OF THIS WORLD! 🥹
Thank you for bringing my Chente to life. Unfortunately, we lost him on December 2021. Vicente Fernandez "El Rey" he is a legend. I follow his music since he started. He will always be Mi Chente!
The power of his voice is definitely chilling in a good way so I get why she said that she had a headache. What an AMAZING voice. Chills through the whole song.
Yes. Its partially due to the fact that it belongs to a particular region (Bajio northwest) therefore it isn't native to all of Mexico. (Colombia has more mariachi bands per capita). When in Mexico I recommend the mariachi Festival in Guadalajara or going to Garibaldi Plaza in Mexico City anytime of the year. Make sure to get tipsy on good tequila. A low priced one would be 7 leguas. Mid priced don julio 70. If you want to splurge get some Reserva de la Familia. Happy travels. No silly mandates in Mexico.
Is amazing! Coming from a little town in Mexico , struggling to live yet turning all that suffering and pain into amazing music. Makes me feel so proud . Talent
He’s got a strong voice. I’ve seen him perform 12 times from when I was about 10 until he retired in 2012 and that was actually his last concert here in San Antonio Texas my dad is a big fan. if you guys do a reaction to aca entre nos live he lowers his mic . So on one of his performances we had to sit way on top because they tickets were sold out but we couldn’t miss it for anything in the world and when he lowers that mic you were still able to hear it all the way on top .
I attended several of his concerts in Madison Square Garden; he usually came to New York in the fall. He had the projection and endurance of an opera singer and the earthiness to appeal to everyone. He is sorely missed.

I watch your BTS reactions, and the last thing I ever expected was for you to listen to Vicente Fernandez. I'm in my 30's and grew up listening to his music. I always have him on my playlists, karaoke would not be the same without VF lol. Even in his old age his voice is still incredibly strong. He definitely spills all his emotions into his music. Any Mexican that's going through heartache/breakup and/or drinking......you better believe they have Vicente "Chente" playing in the background😌😂😂
Vicente Fernandez, the best to ever do it for Mexico!! Que en paz descanse!
Vicente Fernández: idol of our country. 🇲🇽🎶
He's a staple in Mexican culture!!!! Think of it like this: Mexico: tacos America: BBQ ribs😋😋
He is very well known for not using a mic(you can see he keeps it away from his face sometimes in this video) because his voice just resonates through the entire room!!
Just finished El Rey on netflix. Didn't know who he was. Im a white boy in East Tx. Finished the season in 2 days. He lead a very inspiring life. I was curious and decided to u tube some of his work and know why he was so well loved. His voice is so powerful and at the same time graceful. I can't understand any of it but am moved by the tones he produced. It will give u goosebumps. He will always be remembered. Rest in peace 🙏
Justin reacted to Angela Aguilar singing La llorona. It is a jewel. And she is a young girl who comes from an incredible Mexican dynasty. Daughter of singer Pepe Aguilar
oh I love her and that song was just amazing
yes please do!
Yes please.🇲🇽💖👍
And granddaughter of the Señor Antonio Aguilar who was a real charro Mexicano😊
Liliana : she doesn't sing that all.
Check Irlanda Valenzuela then you see the difference.
Latin American Music is the best, the culture, the meaning of most of the lyrics and the passion of the singers and people in general, not to mention the joy that characterizes us, I am a proud Colombian 🥺♥️

el Mariachi mexicano es de lo mas hermoso que puede existir... los tonos de Vicente Fernandez eran impresionantes...
His voice and this song ALWAYS brings tears to my eyes. I’ve heard him played in my mother’s home since I was a little girl. To just feel the pain, passion AND hope from behind the words he sings in this song. Ugh! 😩 wonderfully OUT OF THIS WORLD! 🥹
Orgullosa de ser Mexicana!!! Me alegra que la música mexicana le gusta a personas de otros países, la música realmente rompe la barrera del idioma
Chente es chente, aquí y en China no hay otro como el! Viva México!
Thank you for bringing my Chente to life. Unfortunately, we lost him on December 2021. Vicente Fernandez "El Rey" he is a legend. I follow his music since he started. He will always be Mi Chente!

Vicente Fernandez is a true Mexicna legend. He loved impressing the fans by singing without a mic. He had a powerful voice. Rip Chente
Vicente Fernández, the Mexican Icon and ‘King of Rancheras,' Dead at 81. 12/12/21. 😢😢😢😢🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
5:32 when he hits his chest you realize this is a live performance, Chente is the GOAT.
Musica Ranchera is becoming such an underrated genre in Mexico. It is truly sad. It needs a stronger comeback
rancho humilde is the best genre right now
Sadly Vicente Fernandez has passed away. He will be remembered as one of Mexico’s greatest icons and singers ever 🕊
All of his songs remids me of my childhood when all of my family used to reunite just to eat, drink and sing at my grandma´s house :")
Esto es Mexico y nuestros impresionantes cantantes mexicanos. Que hermoso es mi pais...💚💚💚
Is amazing! Coming from a little town in Mexico , struggling to live yet turning all that suffering and pain into amazing music. Makes me feel so proud .
Talent
Chente es un Orgullo Mexicano, nuestra admiracion de su carrera artistica y sé que los deja con la boca abierta..... !!
His son Alejandro Fernandez singing "Granada" live will drop your jaws to the floor... that is power!!!!!
Have you heard amor de los dos?. Is a duet with Vicente fernandez and his son alejandro fernandez.. check it out..you. Gonna love it I'm dead serious
"Amor de los dos "
He’s my dad’s favorite singer and he literally sings just like him it’s kinda scary how similar he sounds!
The pride of Mexico, FOREVER. As a child in our home, his music was just part of our life. Even just seeing him do what he loved brings tears. Rip
My culture is so beautiful, I'm so proud of my mexican culture
Heard his song countless of times and still it's just as if it was my first time hearing this song. Wish you had subtitles to the lyrics
Love your genuine and openness to reviewing outside your culture…and this man RIP was a legend while alive and remains one after death.
