Vi una receta de una sopa de verduras que lleva camote y queda muy sabrosa y también lo comemos solo así cocido. Una tía de mi esposo hacia un hoyo en el piso de tierra, ponía algo de carbón( muy poco) creo que cuando ya estaba caliente le ponía tierra encima. Metía unos camotes dentro de una olla de barro y esta olla ella la ponía de cabeza sobre esas brasas y luego cubrieron con tierra la olla y así lo dejaron toda la noche, al día siguiente aquel camote era un manjar, suelta su dulce natural y quedó delicioso. Es solo mi comentario.
If you put some Rosmarin, sweet paprika powder, garlic powder mixed in olive oil and put on the raw sweet potato dough (but hold the sugar) before baking would make it taste really aromatic. I do this with sweet potato wedges. But it needs an addition of cornstarch on the wedgies so the mixture can hold onto them.

It is a holiday meal requirement, lol, and special treat for dinners. We had it so often I started experimenting with variations, and now we have personal pie sized "muffins". I'm still working on the filling being used for stuffed meatballs somehow, but haven't quite managed to make a worthy result that isn't overly labor intensive.

The reason sweet potatoes are good for you is because they have vitemins A, C and B6 plus fiber and potassium. It helps with a healthy gut and brain. We eat them for those things. Plus as long as you’re eating fiber with it, (even in separate foods as long as they’re in your stomach at the same time) your body treats it the same as sugar in fruits (because the fiber slows down that digestion and the sugars are used for good energy instead of making you crash) so yeah maybe stop being the health police if you don’t even understand how our digestion works.
