I live in Adelaide South Australia but I am English by birth. I've been to Castlerigg a few times. My best visit was Christmas when it was quiet, snowy and totally ethereal. There was a feeling of being at one with nature. A memorable experience.

I suggest only people with half a brain would trust Dr C. He continually misrepresents information. You only have to look at the video he produced the other day. He quoted a sentence but changed one word, which totally altered the meaning of the sentence (so it became an anti-vaccine sentence). Was this an accident, or what many believe, it was intentional? Was he possibly playing on the ignorance of his viewers who would not fact check him?
Only people with half a brain would believe what DR C says without fact-checking him!

Here's a tip, with regard to elder's education, the young: of _any_ species, don't survive, without proper teachings. The young, of the West, tend to dismiss important education, due to the misnomer that this modern centralised schooling teaches them everything they need in life.
Easy to see why successive generations, of our Human population, are becoming dumber & indoctrinated: & not to the betterment of the masses.

That area is the ancestral home of my forebears...at least as far back as I can trace.....it is a pity that we seemed to have regressed since the advent of farming on a community scale to the modern age of science where facts, truth and accountability have all but disappeared.

An interview regarding the horrors of Gadolinium contrast for MRI, the thousands of patients suffering Gadolinium Deposition Disease, it's the NSF scandal of the 90's and 2000's all over again! I took two young Americans around some of the barrow sites in the weald of Kent. They were blown away by the lanes that have been worn down 10ft by the passage of feet over 5,0000 years.

Prof Clancy is one of the favourite sons Australia has ever produced. Might I suggest the Merry Maidens in Cornwall? They are one of the few standing stones that are still fully intact. They are open to walking into and experiencing. You may ever discover the reason for them!

2016 was my first visit to the UK and we came across Castlerigg Stone Circle while wandering the north as my ancestors had come from Cumbria, the feeling or the vibe I received while in the circle was surprising, my junk dna must have woken up - what a fabulous place, thanks for this 🇬🇧 🇦🇺

The stone circles served a practical purpose as well as religious purpose. Timing the solstice was vital for timing planting and harvesting of crops.

Beautiful red and purple hills on a lovely day with no rain. I expected to see a castle somewhere out there. I remember reading it was recently discovered like a month or two ago that the Altar stone at Stonehenge came from Scotland and not Wales as had been believed.

The original series were broadcast in the UK around 2000. But there are new series being made now being made independently and also available on YT. Really worth a watch I think. Great insights into life from 4000 years BC up to medieval times era. x
