Tears in my eyes!! 😭 This message is SPOT ON! As a spouse of someone battling severe mental disorders, I can relate to so many things in this video!
Lately I've been looking into mental disorders in combination with a walk of faith and biblical counseling. So many people are told: "Here's a Bible verse. Meditate on it. Memorize it. Here are some steps to bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." Yes, those are good and truthful things! Unfortunately, it can happen someone's brain is wired differently and therefore he isn't able to act that way. Coming from Word of Faith and NAR teachings, one can even become more depressed, 'because you lack faith in God'.
Thank you for this video! It came at the right time and confirms my passion for making mental health/mental disorders topics negotiable in churches.
I will keep praying fervently for people who are fighting battles people don't even know of AND their loved ones, because for the loved ones it can be quite a challenge too. 🙏🏽
    Blessings from the Netherlands! 🙌🏽❤️🕊

Thank you, Paul! Thank you for touching on this even if it was a brief answer. Sin, trauma, vitamin/mineral deficiencies, addictions, bodily injuries, pharmaceutical side effects, brain training with repetitive thought patterns all go in to this. We were amazed to find out that a sinus prescription has harm to self or others as a side effect and reading further it explains that the symptoms or thoughts could remain far after the person has stopped taking their prescribed p harmaceutical. How horrifying!

Man, this is as good/better than joe rogan episodes, this should be at 5M views +. Thank you. For addictions, like mine, i wonder and believe lately, that nutrition can/does play a part; caffeine is exaserbating the drive to do the thing, whereas if i pay attention to sleep and nutrition, the craving is suspended or less than usual. Demonized? perhaps. But don't discount the body as Mr Tripp states here. Run, or prolonged aerobic exercise leads to endorphins, and if you're in a funk, a long 30 min or longer at moderate capacity, less than 80% of your max, would certainly put you on another planet, able to gain a better more productive perspective, and able to hear what God wants to tell you. Thank you again Mr Tripp, more people need to hear this.

Just call it what it is - physical health, that affects your brain, or spiritual health that can only be resolved through repentance and salvation. Stop calling it mental health.
