A really similar sound I do is what I call the tongue kick. Basically the same thing, but doing it more on the palate and without air. Used to do it in school to imitate heartbeat sound lol (with closed mouth). Pretty powerful now, sick.

When I first tried this I had a bit of trouble. After I figured it out, I realized I'd been using it subconsciously in practice without knowing. But the easiest way to do it (in my opinion) is to say "cat" while inhaling. That should give the proper tongue position to make the sound. It does for me at least.

that's called a throat kick, it has a technical name and it's used for other techniques like the synth sound
