I've been hunting for this bass tone for months. It's GOATED. Of course most of that is attributed to your talent but could you please breakdown the specs of what bass, pickups, and strings you're using? I'm assuming that is a five string fender american professional p bass?
Hey! I recently just remembered I did this cover and went to listen and just found your comment here! Thanks so much for listening. Here I’m using the classic Fender P Bass as you mentioned and these are their factory pick ups. I have DR strings on the nickel wound 45-130 gauge I think aside from that I have the tone roller back ( I prefer a warmer fatter sound) and also the amp I went through when I recorded in in garage band helped with the tone as well. I’m pretty sure I used the one called Big Stack or Hi Def. I hope this helps! Don’t forget tone comes from how you work with the instrument so try different techniques too!
Muito bom esse Groove
You always look like you're having so much fun 🙏 great to see someone who realizes what it means to "play" music.
