His mother gives him the strength and motivation to overcome difficult situations, he said that in an earlier interview, so without her he wouldn't be at the level he is now. Ajax fans are kinda used to it nowadays. Every exceptional talent that plays at ajax is going to get picked up by a big club within one or two years. The eredivisie is not really that interesting to play in and ajax can't compete with clubs in the big 4 competitions moneywise, so we all see it coming from a mile off tbh. The exciting part about ajax for me is that we see a breakthrough of young talents every year, with gravenberch, timber and rensch this year to name a few

Ajax has improved on keeping players for a longer time than anticipated. Playing for ajax seems more interesting now since they actually have a chance to get far in european tournaments or maybe even win a europa league

Ajax has improved on keeping players for a longer time than anticipated. Playing for ajax seems more interesting now since they actually have a chance to get far in european tournaments or maybe even win a europa league
