One more practice with pearl mix and swiping using a plastic palette knife on a 18x24 inch canvas.
I expected some interesting effect from the combination of pearl mix and metallics and I got it. The Red Purple color I created myself by mixing about 85% Quinacridone Magenta and about 5% each Phthalocyanine Blue, Yellow Ochre and Primary Red. Also used were Silver and Champagne Gold DecoArt® Extreme Sheen Metallic Acrylic Paints.
Pearl mix recipe: 1/4 cup Soft Body Acrylic Paint by Artist's Loft and 1/4 cup of Liqiutex Basic White color paint, 1 teaspoon Decorate Americano White, 1 teaspoon satin enamel, 2/3 cup floetrol, 1 teaspoon Golden GAC 800, a little bit Liqiutex pouring medium and water to consistency.
