    I find this stigmatizing.
To me it appears disrespectful of "odd behaviours", promoting the biomedical model of seeking a quick fix AGAINST the new experience.

@karamyy This film is so NOT stigmatizing. Mental illness, when it hits is awful-like any other illness. And when you get symptomatic, you need to do what you can to get back to normal. You are not you-you are in the throws of an illness. The “odd behaviors” are not fun and are not you. Mental illness is not being quirky-being quirky is fine and can make you who you are. However when you have a mental illness you desperately what to get back to baseline you. You may always be different from people who don’t struggle with illness, but being you normal self with fewer odd behaviors feels wonderful.
