I have symbol for location in my next actions cuz I can easily see which things I need to do in location/task. I have a little house emoji 🏠 for jobs around the house, and a car emoji 🚗 for things that are on the go, errands, reminders for taking something to the car etc. the next actions pop out rather than having to read the list
David Alan is getting on in age and I think since the pandemic he is slow down considerably and probably has different goals in life as opposed to what he’s been doing for over 30 years
The interviewer tells Allen that he's been using the system for a while, but it sounds like he just learned about it a few hours ago based on his questions.
@@jt0851 Thanks James, indeed that's exactly what I was doing (or trying to do) - Perhaps I should do an 'advanced' GTD session too (to Jeff C's point). Thanks for the defense though ;-)
You can't BELIEVE how helpful this video is. it's 2023. just thanks for keeping it here
This video was really helpful. Thank you

I love David's enthusiasm in this interview. In more recent TH-cam interviews he seems so jaded and bored of talking about it! Really helpful video.

This is brilliant. This video changed my life 7 months ago.
Al Anthony Gell thank you for the video。I have been practicing GTD for a long time and still learn a lot each time I revisit this interview
The best part of David Allen's videos->
1:41 - 1:52 -> "Oh, I got to do this, Oh I gotta do that, oh my, oh oh.."
Pure gold.
GENIUS 💫
Camera Guy: "Zoom in more. No, more. More."
Thanks
thanks for the vídeo!
The saddest thing in the world, David Allen himself says "I don't know" to how to do habit forming, lol. We are lost as a species then.
LOL. Couldn't have said it better
Read the book "Atomic Habits"
why it feels like the video loosing focus?
Got The Drawers 😉

I assume he is playing devils advocate. So he is interviewing for the benefit of a viewer who is unfamiliar with gtd.

Nigga he wont be all sayin david allens shit when he got him right there in front of him for the viewers even if he knew the system better than him
