Thanks for the mention, Craig - it was a great day at Abbotsbury, despite the rain. I hope you get that Setaria going and can spread it around. I have the normal version (from you last year) and have found that you can pull it to pieces and every bit roots well. As for the amazing Srobilanthes, I was given a cutting by Tom Hudson of Tregrehan a few years ago, from his huge plant, which appeared to be a shrub about 3m tall, though it is really a herbaceous plant. Tom lost this plant and I was able to resupply him with one last year. It is not very hardy, though an established plant outside does reappear from ground level in the spring. Fortunately it roots very easily and a stem can be cut up like a Hydrangea and will root from every node! All the best, Russell
