Did the right thing stopping .. the last 30 miles was relentless and you’d have ruined your ankle..and been out for ages… always another one ..👏✋.. great video..🤝

I can't believe you did the 10 mile race next day, I know how you feel re the weight and pressure to keep running as I'm exactly the same but you don't need to run such long distances or do so many races. Stay strong 💪

Luckily the ankle felt better yesterday morning so I did the race as a nice easy social run. But I agree about the very heavy race schedule. I’ve cancelled the wall in June. I’ve got 2 more 50km runs to do in the next month and then that’s it until September which will give me time to get right

Must've been feeling strong to start this one week after the three peaks! 💪🏻 I just managed 22k this weekend and I did three peaks too.

Sorry Dom. DNF's are hard to take but on this occasion, there really wasn't a decision to be made.
I fully understand how important running is for mental health so no point risking a long layoff by battling through.
There's always another day and another race.

Thank you Colin and I definitely made the right decision to not battle on and make the ankle any worse as I’m not back running as normal.
