- Klay (Barbie Forteza) was baffled when she woke up in a different location after reading the book given to her by her professor. She'll be even more surprised to discover that the people she's with are characters from the book she's reading.

Ang galing. I really have to laud GMA and the crew and cast for showing us this gem of a show. The cinematography is wonderful, the color grading is on point, the costumes are accurate, the acting is amazing especially Barbie Forteza's portrayal and it's really well-researched. I am hooked.

Eto ung matagal ko ng hinihintay na magkaroon ng ganitong series. Magbalik tanaw sa nakaraan. Dahil sa kdrama nagagawa nila ung ganito pero nagiging big hit naman. So why not doing it here sa pinas. The story pacing, cinematography, camera shots, acting, casting and costume department deserves a compliment. This is the first local drama that I've watched in recent years. I will definitely continue watching this.

I am currently a fourth year nursing student and we do actually have a subject, Life and Works of Rizal, I can really relate to Klay, which is the role of Miss Barbie Forteza since at first, I was really questioning how does this subject can help me mold into an efficient nurse but, I was wrong, while studying for our prelim examination, I realized how important this novel, Noli Me Tangere and also the El Filibusterismo in awakening the nationalism and patriotism among the Filipinos, therefore both of these works of Rizal were really a great contribution factor for us to gain independence from the colonization of the Spaniards. I'm really excited to watch this series. Can't wait for more episodes 🤍✨

Meron din kami subject niyan sa BA..i think required po yan sa curriculum ng lahat ng students kahit anu pa courses. Pero sobra akong namangha sa Prof. namin noon, buong libro ng Noli Me Tangere memorize nya.. wala kami ginagawa sa kanya kundi recitation lang..bubunot sya ng class card at ang mabunot ay magrerecite pwede rin magvolunteer.. irerecite namin chapters ng Noli...then pag may mali kami or nakakalimot kami inico-correct nya kahit di sya nakatingin sa libro .wow is in wow ako noon haha

Superb! very relatable 'yung character ni Klay sa pag-kwestiyon kung anong connect ng rizal subject sa course na kinuha nya, naalala ko tuloy sarili ko kay klay. At nakakatuwa lang na bumabalik na yung mga ganitong genre sa GMA. Sa gantong konsepto ay hindi nakakabagot panoorin at may aral pang makukuha kaya recommend sa mga kids. But I hope the plot twists will be mind-blowing and well-explained regarding Klay's purpose, why she came back and time traveled to another timeline, and specially what would be the ending like. Hoping for the smooth sequences / timeline to prevent plot holes lol.

Tried watching the first episode, I thought I would get bored but wow! Pang world-class quality na ang mga ganitong drama. I hope we can keep this up. The feels of MCAI is like a kdrama but proudly Filipino-made and based on our colorful history!
I love how the twist was well-thought. The fact na hindi nila hinayaan si Klay na mag-interfere sa events na nasa kwento is brilliant.

This is my first local tv show for I don't know how many years! Grabeee GMA! Napakagaling! Salamat sa nakaisip at nagproduce ng ganitong de kalidad! Ramdam din yung bawat eksena lalo sa struggle ni Klay sa buhay nya at sa natural na mararamdaman ng isang tao kapag napunta sya sa nakaraan.

I have never been a fan of a local tv series, in fact, I haven't been watching tv for years now! But, because of this and its good feedback from the audience spreading like a wildfire on Facebook, I gave it a try since I would also love to see the Philippines in a Spanish-era setting. and, here I am easily got captivated! The acting, cinematography, etc... are all superb!
Honestly I'm not into history because I always hated this subject, but when I watched the trailer of this I was captivated by the acting skills of the actresses/actor as if they would give justice to the characters in the book. I am grateful that I found this precious drama, Filipinos especially students should watch this and witness how our history should be treasured and remembered. 😊
Napakaauthentic ng setting parang nandoon ka talaga sa panahon ng mga ninuno naten na survivor ng hispanic colonial times...parang nabuhay ka ng panahon na yon..

This is so real many nurses want to work in other country to earn good figure bc we feel underappreciated in our country so glad for this series even I don't usually watch tv or Filipino dramas but this one is an exception
Thanks GMA for finally, finally bringing something that truly make sense. You are doing the society a favor for showing something out of the books of Jose Rizal. Hindi puro about nonsensical drama that you keep on giving the public. This is what the youth of today should be watching. In fairness to Julie Ann, she really nails being the Maria Clara and the acting of that alleged "mujer libre" is superb!
Gma already made important series like Amaya na recommended pa ng DepEd. Sahaya, Indio, Legal Wives, Ilustrado etc. They are the only tv network in the ph na kayang gumawa ng isang historical series na wlang aberya sa researched

I'm a huge fan of both Korean and Chinese historical dramas kaya nung narinig ko ang tungkol sa series na 'to, I never hesitated to watch. I've been waiting for this kind of drama to be aired containing our own historical contents and I must say that it deserves all the recognition it's getting. 👏
