- Pinakbet is one of the numerous humble dishes of the Philippines. It is a vegetable stew and it is best to cook it in a clay pot. The flavoring agent of this dish is bagoong- a Filipino fish paste.
I grew up eating this food. Today, I cooked pinakbet after working in the farm. I used vegetables from my garden. We enjoyed eating it for dinner.

Pinakbet is one of the numerous humble dishes of the Philippines. It is a vegetable stew and it is best to cook it in a clay pot. This dish was originated in Ilocos Region, Philippines. The flavoring agent of this dish is bagoong- a Filipino fish paste. The original and traditional way of cooking pinakbet was shown on the video.

that's called, "living off from the land". gotta take the available resources around you. I prefer eating this dish over McDonald's, Popeyes, Carolina BBQ, Taco Bell, Bojangles fried chickens and other unhealthy American food. As a Filipino-American and a North Carolina resident, I'd say "Mabuhay"-means long live the Philippines. I cannot wait to retire and live in this hidden Paradise, The Philippines.

but I believe these videos are more true. The vegetables are really planted and not setup so I enjoy watching it more because I know the material is real and raw. I also observed his appearance and gestures that he really knows and does farming. Goodluck!

Wow I am from France and Filipinos are really kind and Intelligent people. I have workers 60 % Filipinos and they exceeded my expectations. Some of my Israeli Friends mentiones before that the Philippines is actually the promised Land.
When everyone wants to be healthy they eat red rice and it's expensive. But in the countryside, it's normal for them to eat it. I like your vids it's chill.
we in the countryside are most likely healthier compared to those who are in the cities even if we eat white rice all the time bc vegetables are eveywhere and fresh and above all the place isnt polluted at all

Currently here in the UK and i love watching your videos po. I am blessed to have married a man from Ilocos Sur. He such a humble person lumaki sa probinsya at sa bukid. At sobrang proud na proud ako sa kanya. Sabi nga nya, mahirap ang buhay sa probinsya pero masaya. Watching your videos showed me glimpse of his life sa countryside. At nagdesisyon na kami na magiipon lang tapos uuwi na kami sa Pilipinas at maninirahan sa probinsya. 🤍

Ang saya! ang tunog ng ulan yong bigas na sinangag mo naalaala ko ginagawawa namin yan sarap ipares sa nilagang saging o kamoteng kahoy. Ang ilokanong pakbet ang the best kay sa regular na pakbet. Pag nakita ko ang volg na ganito ang and saya balikan noong kabataan ko pa. Salamat gayem sa video mo napasaya mo ako.
