Great job on covering the car show , all your videos are really good and you do your best to explain the cars and trucks in your videos , keep up the great work, 👍🏼
Hey Mike... California has the best car shows I've ever saw .not just lowrider .Original muscle cars ...Ford roadsters .and Harley's and rice rockets.then the 4 sec rails.. California loves there Detroit muscle... Never have I saw so many 55 56 57 all Chevy models.. The best keep it coming..... Thanks
This is beautiful artwork on these vehicles. I know Low Riders started in East Los Angeles during the 60's when they would all cruise Whitter Blvd.in ELA. Now they are known all over the WORLD, these days most of them are for Show only. They have come a long way. Very Proud of my GENTE. Now it is every Nationality joining the Low Rider scene. AWESOME!
Mike it baffles the mind as to the amount of money that is poored into these cars. the artistry on these rides is nothing short of spectacular! its nice to see the Ford camp getting in on the show as well. Plus the others like the Hudson. Really amazing stuff.
Thanx again Mike for checking out the show and for showing my lowriding culture. Not sure if it's your 1st lowrider show but as you can see we take this serious we take great pride in our culture and in our cars like I told you in the past we can compete in them hot custom shows we know how to put all the details and custom fab work. Once again Mike thanx again great job
So what do you think of the lowrider culture and I know some of the hot rod community thinks we don't belong car competitions with them even though our cars have have more money in them them some houses. Some of these hot rodders get a car from the 30's and strip it down and put digital gadgets custom interior big ass motors and custom fabrications and loud exhaust with big tires we do the the same but our style but we get looked down when we do it. Like the 1957 BelAir Double Trouble. Everything is custom on that car and could compete on the main stage at the GNRS but they would let him because their scared they would lose to a lowriderI glad you got the see and filmed how us lowriders get down and how many of them appreciate you for filming it! Keep up the great work 👍🏼
I grew up in LA and have been seeing lowriders at shows and on the street my whole life. I’d say most hot rodders appreciate the work that goes into these cars. Obviously a large number of my viewers are into lowriders and I stopped to talk to many while at the show.
Like your car show videos you take your time you don't move the camera fast like others. You are not with jokes you speak about the cars inform the viewer what they looking at. You are a Rick Steven's of car shows
@Mike Frankovich I know it takes time and patience to make a good film but your steadiness is very important to catch viewers attention. And jokes aren't bad as I mentioned but at least it's always a bit annoying if the jokes don't relate to the filming.
Thanks for filming these car shows Mike, I like that you basically let the cars speak for themselves and limit your dialogue to relevant comments 👍🏽 I’m a 1963-73 Buick Riviera enthusiast-owned a 63 years ago and hope to locate another from above years mentioned. I realize the production numbers were small compared to the other manufacturers, I did see a white 65 project for sale on a earlier episode of yours, but prefer one in better shape, also saw a 63 for sale but as you said “check the date on video before calling and it was two months old. If by chance you know of one or come across one for sale, would appreciate it, I look forward to catching future shows, Thanks, L✌🏽
Excellent video !!! For the young kids who don’t know and want to learn, mentioning the year every time and describing more what was factory and not factory would help out the kids.. and maybe noting more detail about paint and building processes.. love watching this !!! Respect goes out to you sir !!! You’re work is amazing. 💯💯💯
Have a look at the quality and detail in ALL of these cars, its insanely kool. if i was 21 again i would go work in one of these paint shops for free just to learn. Wow.. another great Show Mike thanks and very professional mate .. This style and quality of work has drifted over into Thailand,, they have amazing car shows also, but not many american cars that we all love but they do have a few. steve in Australia
Really quick before I forget the riviera with the coffin inside was in the 1978 movie Corvette Summer with Mark Hamill. Thats how old that car is along the thunderbird theStar Car i believe came out early or mid 80's and the tri 5 next to it thats 1956 Tower of Power. Done in the late 60's and redone I believe in the late 70's don't quote me on those years but I used to have all them lowrider magazines I used to buy 2 of them one to cut up to place on my walls and the other to put in my collection. But things happen and I lost them all. But those cars and owners are lowrider Legends and that's on 3 of hundreds car lowrider legends.
Damn Mike I have been waiting for this show 👍🏻👊🏻 Where going to bé there but covid messed it up tot come from europe Thanks verry much Now where there thanks to you 👊🏻👍🏻 Regards Robert Special
This was a highly anticipated show, and the turnout reflects that. They may need to consider a larger venue and an additional show day (or two) next year.
I just heard they are having a Bombs show in Anaheim July 17 and I will be down visiting from New Mexico. Hope I can make it to that show. Hope the tickets are expensive
Those Hispanics only know custom and designer. Works of art that are only found on the West Coast. Old cars that are transformed into works of art are driven on the road daily. The artwork on the cars is also stunning 💪💪🏆🏆
Small but big suggestion. I know it takes up alot of time and film, but do you think you can give us a wide shot of the vehicles b4 you go in for a closer look? Something we can screen shot when coming up with ideas? Thnx.
I'm sure you could tell I could've spent many more hours filming these cars and showing even more details, but it got hard to shoot towards the end. Thanks for the kind words.
@Don juanin this life we all have different styles of everything. including cars and our own personal style and how we fix them up. I rather see them restored in any style than crushed or wasted left to rust away. new cars are great daily drivers.
@Don juan my personal style is as original as possible pachuco style. I have two bombs. fat fenders all day every day for my style. take a look at junkyard auctions big bucks. people are saving them old rides worldwide. here on youtube videos
The cars and craftsmanship! Absolutely beautiful !
This is one of the coolest car shows on the planet, once again the Latino community shows why their style is arguably the best in custom work
So much work and creativity goes into these cars.

Viewers used to complain that I moved the camera too fast, so I slowed it down. I do throw in jokes from time to time, but not all of the time.

Really great show Mike what day are you going to be at Good guys in San Diego I will have my 66 t-bird convertible there
I'm going Friday. It's the best day for light crowds, which makes for better shots.

You could have done a half hour on the first car.. amazing detail and dedication by all the artists.. thanks for sharing!
Many of the cars had an incredible amount of details that couldn't be picked up in a video.
Wow those are awesome cars! They really had them packed in there....bummed they didn't have hydrolic competitions but it was still a great video

Cool vlog on channel TH-cam
Premium chicano rides.
Mikes usual commentary is way better than the din going on at this show.
It was too loud for commentary through some parts of the show.
Very nice

When is the next lowrider show in So Cal?
Theres pretty much local meets just about every weekend. Not sure when the next major show is.
Small but big suggestion. I know it takes up alot of time and film, but do you think you can give us a wide shot of the vehicles b4 you go in for a closer look? Something we can screen shot when coming up with ideas? Thnx.
The rows were narrow and it became more crowded as the day went on. I try to get the best angles I can.
Do you remember seeing any vendors there with rims
Barely had enough time to shoot the show cars.
Nice cars , only cali
The cars were absolutely amazing.
The low rider bloggers did a terrible job of covering the event.. thanks for the great footage from an east coast lowrider!
I'm sure you could tell I could've spent many more hours filming these cars and showing even more details, but it got hard to shoot towards the end. Thanks for the kind words.
My invite must've gotten lost in the mail.
The best cars and the most most featured cars are the Chevrolets
👍👍🌹❤️🌞💐
The1958 sky blue impala is the only original looking one which doesn’t look like a low rider
