CORRECTION: The crit rate from the passive is affected by citical hit rate modifiers. In other words, this increases the gun's BASE critical hit rate by 14%. I think when I tested it I must've accidentally forgotten to save the loadout or something and it just didn't occur to me that the base weapon crit rate didn't change. I do plan on releasing some build videos soon, it's a slow process because I'm not doing any pay2win and I want to make sure my info is accurate. There's A LOT of misinfo about weapon dps going around right now and I don't want to add to that.
I do need to correct that it is affected by citical hit rate modifiers (this goes for valby as well). I think when I tested it I must've accidentally forgotten to save the loadout or something and it just didn't occur to me that the base weapon crit rate didn't change.
@@Naisariasoh so it’s not a flat additive ? It’s 14% of the guns crit rate ? Was playing him this morning and I still got decent numbers just wish he wasn’t so squishy. Spoiled with Ajax haha
@@stealthy3928 No, it increases the base crit rate of the gun by 14%. Using the tamer as an example, let's say you have +50% crit rate from mods with it's base 10% crit rate: instead of [10 * 1.5 + 14 = 29%] it's [(10 + 14) * 1.5 = 36%]
Depends, if you just want to make a purely firearm focused build, then the only stats you really need are cooldown, duration and survivability. Honestly, I still haven't gotten around to experimenting with blair because I've been so busy getting gley, bunny, valby and a bunch weapons end-game ready. So I have no idea if its worth investing in your skill damage at all on a build centered around backdraft.
Seems to be working perfectly fine for me. Just be aware that the bonus crit will only be shown in the info page of the inventory screen. When you're on the inventory screen, on PC, press the W key, not sure what it is on console but it should be shown in the bottom right.
@@jacobsdad8163 unless you're on console, and its a console specific bug, it's definitely working normally. Trying putting on a very low crit rate weapon, like a launcher/shotgun with 1% crit rate, and see if you're getting crits
Valby gives a flat 20% critical hit rate, you confirm this by looking at her passive on descendant page. But I do need to correct that it is affected by citical hit rate modifiers (this goes for blair as well). I think when I tested it I must've accidentally forgotten to save the loadout or something and it just didn't occur to me that the base weapon crit rate didn't change.

My Blair is going to be done in 2 hours and I just got back draft dropped yesterday! I can’t wait. I’m looking forward to see how you build him

To clarify, for both Blair and Valby, they increase the BASE critical hit rate of a gun by 14% and 20% respectively.

@@stealthy3928 so it's actually much better than I originally thought
the first legendary hand canon has the highest crit and crit rate ur welcome
-30% debuff is good too
Should i bother with demension or fire skill modules?

hi have you found that backdraft crit rate is not applying to weapons after the patch. doing some testing and it does not add it to my weapon. ???

I'll have another go but seems broken for me 😢 just doesn't show the increase.

Valby does the same thing, except hers is flat 50% (gun dependent)
