- Here is a video of a new design for a Pod base that we built on Ark Ascended (island map). This design is for the more advanced player as you will need plenty of materials and some grind!

So I just built this, but instead of 6x14 I did 8x16 and added another larger diamond on the front 13 triangles instead of 11. Then walked it down 3 times. FYI this sets the bottom floor at exactly 10 diameter from the end of the stairs for boss fights.
I'd like to see scaled up versions of this concept (housing multiple brontos etc perhaps). Genuinely unique and captivating!
The thing is that the whole thing balances on a thin line (literally) and if a random Carcha or Titano waddles around, you'll have a problem.
Just added this to the top of my tall tower on SE right over the scar so I can see nest spawn from my base.I added the same end cap of glass on both ends not the door on the other side. Looks really good 👍 thx for the idea, now iv got the coolest base on the map 😎.

Really nice build I have built this myself but I have added my own twist to it. I have built 2 of thenlm back to back both linked together. I would love to show the guy who built this one. My one I have built.

I fit a forge into the bottom floor in mine i didnt do the same interior wise but copied outside love the build!

Somebody has gotta calculate how much resources this would take
??? My base on scorched is currently 5 times this size, built on the spirals and still being built up. No clue how many resources but I know it's 19 large storages full of clay
