Midjourney always wants to make people beautiful even if I tell it not to. I also think they are too pretty but I always imagined everyone as being really skinny besides Breeze.
My thought was the same. Elend is the only one who truly looks correct, everyone else is too pretty. Skaa have a far more rugged look, especially Ham. @@wyn_wyzard
Kelsier, Dockson and Marsh should all be fairly handsome, since they can all pass for noblemen. Particularly Marsh, in this rendition, seems perfect to me. Vin is also perfect. Kelsier was too “pretty” imo-he should be handsome, too, but in a more rugged sort of way. Ham should be more rugged, too-far less pretty faced, no reason for him to be handsome-and also I always imagine him with a buzzcut. But these are all great. Love em.

But then third book he becomes average looking. Remember, he was a Skaa boy, a peasant, he definitely was on the thinner side. Clubs, I imagine an average weight old man, pretty tall, but he’s bald on top, white hair around the edges. Really moody and mad looking. Breeze, I imagine shorter than the average height and looking plump, but well dressed with his hair done. Ham, I actually imagine this really tall, buff, bald guy. Like the man from The Green Mile. I imagine him to look more kind and adorable, rather than attractive. Dockson is just over average height, in my opinion. He looks a little rough but in an attractive way, whilst also being well dressed and groomed. I imagine quite thick, wavy, black hair with a beard. For some reason I just imagine Kelsier and Dockson looking like an attractive duo, but Kelsier looking more attractive because of his charisma. Sazed, I imagine him really tall and lanky. Tan, bald, but I imagine him to look quite feminine. Not attractive, but I imagine soft, clear skin, with soft features. Any other characters outside of the crew, I can’t imagine being attractive at all, for some reason. But I imagine the crew to look anywhere from average to decently attractive. The only other characters I can imagine to be slightly attractive are The Lord Ruler and Zane. Marsh, I feel like he would have looked like an older, rougher looking version of Kelsier because he always seemed so angry and stress. I really liked how Marsh and Kelsier turned out, definitely grasped their characters. Looks like you had some trouble with the Inquisitor though. Been loving these and I'm excited to see what you do next!
For the life of me I could not find a way to make the inquisitor have the spikes through his eyes. I landed on this because I thought it got the eye tattoos right.
@@wyn_wyzard Not sure how Midjourney works but I have seen videos of people editing AI images with Photoshop or other editing software and then feeding them back into the AI program to "smooth it out." Don't know if that would work here though.
Aw yeah! As much as I love Stormlight and The Wheel of Time, this is my favorite fantasy setting! These all look amazing, very interesting takes on Marsh and especially Sazed, he looks absolutely regal!

Don't forget that Rashek and Sazed are of the same ethnicity. I always imagined that due to the LR's meddling, Scadrians had lost all separate ethnicities and been absorbed into only two (Nobles and Skaa). This is one thing Sazed would have restored either during the Catacendre or in subsequent generations.

I would love to see more environments from fantasy series. Would be interesting to see midjurney's interpretation of the blight or the half burried Cheadan Kal for example, from WoT. Or shadesmar, the shattered plains and Urithiru from SA. I'm sure there are plenty more good candidates.
This could be extended to interiors, like the inside of the white tower and other famous buildings. There isnt much in terms of fan art when it comes to those.
The skaa in Mistborn were pretty much peasant stock while the Nobles were taller fairer skin and hair. I would have you tone down the looks of many of the skaa characters showing more hardship in their lives. I always pictured Russian peasants vs Russian nobility when I read it.

Can you do one with Stable Diffusion instead? There's a fantasy model which is good at doing character illustrations. I think it's trained on fan art and fantasy book covers.

Ham was also a lot better looking than I had expected. But great job, that's just where my head cannon was on these folks.
Looks really good! If you want to take your AI art to the next level then try Stable Diffusion and learn to inpaint. You can get a ton of details that don't come through with a prompt alone.
These look great! Not sure about the victorian style clothing though. Wouldn't that be a better fit for Mistborn era 2? I always imagined the clothing in era 1 to be more baroque or 18th century style (without the wigs, obviously)
