@@daddydecember I think if Faker wants to cash out before retirement, China is a way to go. I don't say he is nowhere near retirement yet of course. In China, he's got a chance to win worlds, in NA he would shit the bed most likely, which kinda takes a piece away of his legacy
I feel like Faker has matured quite a bit as well as seemingly being able to enjoy himself more. I like the changes, as i was really worried after the 2017 loos at the worlds final
Julian Mak i get you, but the guy has almost done it for 10 years if not more. I mean Its his job you know? It Would be surprising if he was bad tbh. And in the 10 years i have seen him he has not only been talking With Faker, but Many others as Well.
I can tell Faker is a lot more experienced at interviews. He made a lot of eye contact with Mark and Travis when he was answering the questions even knowing they don't understand Korean.
Seeing him smile again lately relieved me because he seemed so worried about himselves and depressed i felt pity because he seemed like "a friend of misery who wants to carry the weight of the world"
Let's be honest. The difference from past years to the Faker you see here is 1. age, 2. experience in both victory & defeat, 3. loyal fans + brand development, 4. maturity. Faker is showing how he has grown up and he's become a much more social person with a lot of wisdom in how to handle his public persona. It's just that this process was done through playing video games professionally rather than going to college and getting his first job. It very much looks like what the years parents experience when they send their kids off to college, and then let them go on their way to start their adult lives. You truly hope they end up in the spot Faker is at, right now, when the process is over.
Kr challenger soloq is just pro inhouses. In NA, the top of the ladder is often a lot of troll af players or otps even if they are very good it isnt the same environment. Top of korean ladder is primarily lpl/lck/lms and upcoming korean talent. They also dont suffer from such long queue times even in challenger due to larger playerbase.
It feels more competitive since most korean players play from pc banks and not from home and they pay to play per hour They won't just bitch around and waste money so they tryhard more than in other regions.
@@Digi7y its less than a us dollar per hour in most places, i think its the culture and being in public were other people can see them that makes them try hard more often
I have also heard from many pros and streamers that off-roles in NA are extremely bad. So when many challengers are off-rolling in a game it feels like a EUW Plat 3 game, to quote Moe!
There are trolls and scripters all over high level Korean solo queue lol. KR solo queue is better no doubt, but why do people always have to lie and pretend KR high elo is just 700 pros/semi-pros tryharding? It's not. They're just better players and it makes the server better.
What a colossal interview for Travis to get. Anytime to see Faker Interviewed is a joy and for travis. wow its massive. Alienwear gonna be happy about this one hehe.
Travis never disappoints, after such an impressive history of e-sports interviews that has garnered him a ton of experience in the field, he still manages to ask, "how do you think you'll do next year?" Wow, truly incredible stuff Travis, keep it up. Aight no troll, good shit y'all, some of the other questions were really good and detailed, it was super interesting hearing Faker's answers.
Ekay Dragneel I think All-Stars was more of for fans' enjoyment, Faker looked like a troll with that Zac pick really. I'd wait to see LCK vs LPL on Rift Rivals and MSI for more serious/competitive gaming.
For me I like all stars because it's an opportunity to see the pro players having fun and relaxed and happy, so I hope Faker doesn't feel bad that all stars is fun for the players
Haley M Obviously he didn't take All-Stars too seriously. He had those crazy picks like Alistar and Zac, plus he set himself up that 2v2 loss when he agreed on a mirror match with Doublelift-Voyboy. Nonetheless, Faker looked so relaxed and he seem to be enjoying himself with AS.
I think he actually understood a lot from what they were saying. He's bad a speaking in English probably because he doesn't practice it but he understend just fine
@Lelouch yeah you can also see this when they ask questions in english, he smiles and also when the translater spoke about the gambling thing he smiled
His english got better , you can see that he understands every question he just can't answer properly yet.
dandu if nisqy doesn’t work out next year, c9 faker 2020 🤞🏼

Lee Me he is probably the most interviewed in the game. win? interview. lost? interview. ran into in a mall? you know it: interview.
this translater did an amazing job
He always does, the best translator league has.
He is definitely the best interpreter that riot has for Korean/English
Thats why he keeps getting hired to do translating in Riot events.
@@carlosal6326 He has a high position at LCK, he translates for fun, not under contract 😊
