This demonstration is woeful. It’s an acoustic why demonstrate how it sounds through a dreadful Piezo pickup? I’m sure it sounds great acoustically, especially having an Adirondack top, but all this was lost through the Piezo.
When this guitar came in my shop, I said 'this guitar is for daddy'. I am very pleased with this guitar en the sound is really amazing with the on board pickup system. I have done a lot of gigs with the Cort.
Adirondeck top is the reason I'm looking at this guitar, and this guy said he never heard of it... and he is reviewing this guitar...
I got this guitar second hand, put elixir strings on it and it's brilliant. I've played more expensive taylor guitars and this doesn't lose by much honestly.
Could we maybe hear the actual instrument instead of that horrible DI'd sound?

These are great sounding guitars better than any equivalent Martin, but he is murdering that guitar!

You don't know Adirondack omg. It's the holy grail of Blue Grass wood. It's Appalachian pine 😮😮.

Are they good . . . acoustically? Adirondack is stiffer than Sitka which means it has a high ceiling, it can be played hard with a pick without breaking up. But, depending on how thick the top is it might not be as good with gentler fingerstyle guitar which is what I would want the cheaper L300 V version for. Would welcome your thoughts those who have played fingerstyle on it acoustically.

I own a cort and it looks like a Martin d18 most corts look like Martins such as this one

Hehe...Very strange indeed...Adirondack spruce is denser wood than Stika spruce.

I have this Cort & Yamaha fg830 dreadnought. Of those 2 i feel the cort is a better guitar. The solid wood top back & sides realley make a big difference. While the yamaha is one of the best in its price point the cort's fit & finish is better... Wilbur Coast of Maine USA

Tom Quayle - I hope if you watch this review now that you'll be extremely embarrassed. Adirondak Spruce "Never heard of it" !! Really!!! If thats not bad enough, you review a brilliant value for money all solid body acoustic with Adirondak top, entirely with the pickup. And whats with the effects. Not a microphone in sight. Seriously!! @Guitar Interactive Magazine should also be embarrased for publishing this.

Why did you play though amp only? Poor sound! I have heard this guitar sound better in other video reviews though, so I won't judge based on this one alone

Adi-ron-dak. It's a region in north eastern North America. It has mountains. They are called the "Adi-ron-daks". Suggestion: don't ever say anything that stupid on camera again.
This recording make the guitar sound rubbish but it’s actually a great guitar. Anyone looking don’t listen to the sound in this video. It sounds horrible comparative times the actual guitar

Most guitar players dont know about Adi tops but a reviewer?! Thats strange and it shows the guy dont know much about acoustics.
I think he plays mainly electric - a bit of a shredder. He doesn’t appear to know what a scarf joint is either, does he?
Adirondack never heard of it will never hear of it again .Ha Get someone who actually knows anything about guitar, this guy is a joke. Adirondack spruce again for binding x brace Doh. Feel really sorry for Cort they have worked really hard on making a great budget vintage spec, with Adi top and bracing which in anybody's book is a great deal.
He's a donut. How are we supposed to know what it sounds like if he only shows it plugged in?? A cheap laminated piece of crap will prob do the job if you wanna be plugged in. What does its own acoustic sound sound like? It ain't rocket science. Ahhh
It's beautiful. Out of a lot guitars I had picked up at a shop this one screamed the most to me. Definitely my favorite to demo.

Cort is weird, the quality of guitar you get for the price is ridiculous. I have a Earth 100ns and it's tone, fit/finish, and aesthetic is hard to beat for something that was only 280 usd.
