I think mental illness is a topic that needs to be discussed, and I'm glad this video was made. There is still so much stigma around it because it's an "invisible" disease, and most people don't understand it. The portrayal in the video was okay. At 30 minutes, it was one of their longer videos, but still too short of a time to give a real portrayal. Movies that are made don't usually get it right. I think one of these networks, or like Netflix or something, needs to make a TV series with an accurate portrayal of mental illness so that viewers can follow the character along in their struggles year after year. I was diagnosed with bipolar 20 years ago, and it doesn't go away once you get on meds and start therapy. People with bipolar disorder struggle with ups and downs for the rest of their lives. The hope is to be able to catch it before you get too manic or too depressed so medications can be adjusted quickly (usually just tweaked) and get on with life.
My fiance has bipolar and BPD, its always a struggle to see him hit so low but meds can help so much and I just try to be there for him no matter wat. We still going strong! We still have our moments but it just takes time and patience to know whats up. Be patient whoever dates a bipolar person
Currently, mental illness is taken seriously and at least people know it’s “real”. Before, people thought it was something imaginary and an excuse of your “bad” behavior.
00:27 My mom was just like his father. I was young and didn't understand why she was always in bed, crying and giving up of her things. Just some months later we knew she was depressive. It was not easy, but Thank God she is all right now! 🙌🏼❤
Cool video. Unfortunately, my 4 year relationship ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me. I still love him so much and can't stop thinking about him. I've tried my very best to get him back in my life, but to no avail. avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of him, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss him and just can’t stop thinking about him
It's difficult to let go of someone you love. I was in a similar situation when my 12 year relationship ended. I couldn't just let him go, so I did everything I could to get him back. I sought the help of a spiritual counselor, who assisted me in reuniting with him.

I believe that it's for all different mental illnesses that we need to not judge them, love them and more importantly be patient with them. As we never know who's suffering in silence through their pain, torment and so much more. We need to be sure that they get the help and support they need or even being their support without judgement.

This video is rlly inspirational and relatable. I actually have an aunt who suffers from bipolar. Now shes learned how to control it. Despite this, she graduated high school as valedictorian and is doing rlly well now.

This is literally what I went through minus my dad dying more than a year ago. I’m glad people can learn a thing or two about bipolar disorder. I had a traumatic experience that made me spiral into manic and depression. One day I was so happy and felt unstoppable and not tired. Then next day or even hour it was completely different and I would cry for really no reason. I’m thankful my parents realized what was happening. I was sent to a psychiatric hospital which terrified me, but I was diagnosed and given the right low dosage of medicine to treat it. I feel normal and I do therapy and I haven’t experienced any symptoms of bipolar disorder since. I used to be ashamed like it was my fault, but over time I realized it’s no one’s fault. It’s very hard to understand something unless you or someone else you know goes through it.

It’s heartwarming to see mental health disorders being acknowledged and taken seriously now. Now, there are treatments, therapies, and medications people can take for mental health, which can help them live a better life.
This video is rlly inspirational and relatable. I actually have an aunt who suffers from bipolar. Now shes learned how to control it. But when she first had it she ended up having crazy episodes and lashing out. Even one time, she tried to commit suicide but thankfully i was able to stop her. Despite this, she graduated high school as valedictorian and is doing rlly well now.
Glad you stopped her
@Pluxervr I am as well and this actually happened at a train station. So also my mom ran on the train fast to get to where I was with her and made it on time
Dhar Mann, I know it's been over 2 years now, but it's not just me, your video of: Dorky Girl GETS REVENGE On Hot Guy.
You NEED to make a part 2 so many people are still asking for a part 2, if you look in the new comments you'll still se comments asking and saying that kt shouldn't have ended like that, so PLEASE take this into account and see if you can make a part 2 and continue this story like everyone has been waiting!
So everyone please blow this up so Dhar Mannn sees this.
If you haven't seen the video, search it up the name is as what I said earlier, and surely you will feel the same way about the story like me and other people!

It’s very hard to understand something unless you or someone else you know goes through it.
dang calling your dad worst father then he dies is the worst feeling ever.....
Fr, it's soo sad to say/hear it
Unfortunately this kind of thing happens to often.
my husband is bipolar , i'm so glad he is doing good , no medication worked for him , he has medicinal cannabis now and it works great.
I hope things go good with you and him wishing both of you a great life
are you making sure he doesn't get addicted to it?
@@joey6451 Some people truly need medicinal cannabis. Cannabis is not physically addictive.
@@joey6451 I mean this with all respect, but there is no evidence I'm aware of that cannabis is physically addictive. Some people need it medicinally, but it's important to use it responsibly.
@@stargazingcatgirl3233 make sure your husband uses it appropriately. with mental illnesses such a bipolar , schizophrenia or scitzoeffective disorder its extra important to be careful and keep watch
