This helps me start to understand her own prophesy, that a sword would pierce her heart. What gratitude for Jesus our Lord! What heartache, that it had to happen to so loving a One, the Divine Son of God, Who died as perfect and innocent as a babe. The Lamb of God, Who takes away the sins of the world. -No, not ‘one Church’. The Roman Catholics broke off from Orthodoxy with their need for a Pope. They’re the original Protestants. I was raised Catholic but converted to Orthodoxy many years ago- I found it to be much richer & deeper.

A very sad affair that is this Monastery that belongs to the Moscow Patriarchy Ukrainian Autonomous Orthodox Church has been shelled during battle between Ukraine and Russia. May God protect it and find peace between brotherly orthodox peoples.
