I think what that says about you is that a part of wishes things had gone differently and maybe you could have had the happy ending this video had. I can’t say for sure if that’s the case, of course. I personally have no experience with dating and stuff like that. Literally 28 years old and I’ve never had a love life beyond crushes. Not even a single date. Though, that’s due to a personal choice than anything else. I’ve been asked out plenty of times before, but I never felt that connection with any of them and didn’t want to lead anyone on. If I don’t feel that spark, I’m not gonna give someone false hope that I’d be interested in them like that. I am at least careful with my rejections so that we can still be friends as many of those who asked me out were friends of mine. I simply valued their friendship too much to risk our entire relationship simply because I tried to force myself to return their feelings when I never felt that way about them. And don’t even get me started on how strangers can just walk up to each other and ask for a date. That always freaked me out quite a bit and I couldn’t help question how anyone could have such insane confidence. Unless I have built up a genuine interest in someone like that and I’ve gotten to know them well enough, I ain’t accepting any dates. Luckily, I’m in no rush to find someone and am even perfectly happy being single and don’t mind staying single. This method also ensures that I don’t fall for the whole date bet trap.
