I have noticed that Steve Theunissen is one of your better authors. I remember him from the Helen Keller Biographic, which was superb. I liked this Biographic.

worth noting is that he heavily respected and idolized his older brother, who unlike him, was not as adept at the family business, nor had a real taste for it, and it heavily impacted him when his brother became an alcoholic and eventually succumbed to it. He famously doesnt touch alcohol because of that. In an interview with Harvey Levin, Levin asked about that, and asked if he worried, that he might have alcoholism in his dna. Trump's reply was "if you never start, you'll never have a problem"

You forgot a few details about the emigration from Germany. Grandfather Trump first came to North America as a barber and operated a brothel. Then he met his wife when he went home to Bavaria, after which he was basically expelled from Bavaria for failing to do his compulsory national service. While I enjoy and " LIKE " all of Simon's videos , this one failed to mention some key players in trump's life , like " Fat " Tony Salerno ( of the Genovese Family ) who sold trump concrete , Felix Sater ( convicted on racketeering ) who was also trump's business partner in the early 2000's . Apparently there were a multitude of contractors that were either under payed or not payed at all . Roy Cohn was trump's early fixer and made many of these issues disappear , although he was mentioned ( albeit briefly ) , in fact Cohn had many ties with and represented several NY mobsters ( who was later disbarred for unethical and unprofessional conduct , including misappropriation of clients' funds, lying on a bar application, and pressuring a client to amend his will . ) such details were omitted . ( perhaps on purpose , for non partisan and political correctness reasons ) I firmly believe these unsavory characters emboldened trump and they would go on to have a resounding impact on him . It should also serve as evidence of his unconscionable and unscrupulous business practices , while confirming a pattern of problematic behavior that we're still witnessing daily , in 2019 .

Some people mention this in the start or middle of the video - when you are so busy concentrating on the content. But you place it after the content has been delivered and the audience is about to leave. But then, usually in my haste to watch the next one I sometimes forget to hit the like button even when I loved the content and the presentation. Your statement always comes at the right time, when I am ready to hit that like and move on.

Kudos. This is a very comprehensive look, for being under 20 minutes long, at a man's business career. It certainly has had many downturns in which others have gotten the short end of the stick, but the tenacity of the man who has become US president cannot be denied.

This has to be the most honest and unbiased profile I have seen. Great job on not slamming or praising him. Honest facts
worth noting is that he heavily respected and idolized his older brother, who unlike him, was not as adept at the family business, nor had a real taste for it, and it heavily impacted him when his brother became an alcoholic and eventually succumbed to it.
He famously doesnt touch alcohol because of that. In an interview with Harvey Levin, Levin asked about that, and asked if he worried, that he might have alcoholism in his dna. Trump's reply was "if you never start, you'll never have a problem"

You forgot a few details about the emigration from Germany. Grandfather Trump first came to North America as a barber and operated a brothel. Then he met his wife when he went home to Bavaria, after which he was basically expelled from Bavaria for failing to do his compulsory national service. Definitely among the more unusual back stories for a US President.

Yep, I feel it's pretty even giving a good side and bad side. We knew that he would push to keep his promises and that's what we wanted.
While I enjoy and " LIKE " all of Simon's videos , this one failed to mention some key players in trump's life , like " Fat " Tony Salerno ( of the Genovese Family ) who sold trump concrete , Felix Sater ( convicted on racketeering ) who was also trump's business partner in the early 2000's . Apparently there were a multitude of contractors that were either under payed or not payed at all . Roy Cohn was trump's early fixer and made many of these issues disappear , although he was mentioned ( albeit briefly ) , in fact Cohn had many ties with and represented several NY mobsters ( who was later disbarred for unethical and unprofessional conduct , including misappropriation of clients' funds, lying on a bar application, and pressuring a client to amend his will . ) such details were omitted . ( perhaps on purpose , for non partisan and political correctness reasons )
I firmly believe these unsavory characters emboldened trump and they would go on to have a resounding impact on him . It should also serve as evidence of his unconscionable and unscrupulous business practices , while confirming a pattern of problematic behavior that we're still witnessing daily , in 2019 .

I've been watching a number of these videos in the last two days. Firstly well done. Just fabulous. I also want to add how well-placed your request to click the "Like" button is. Some people mention this in the start or middle of the video - when you are so busy concentrating on the content. But you place it after the content has been delivered and the audience is about to leave. But then, usually in my haste to watch the next one I sometimes forget to hit the like button even when I loved the content and the presentation. Your statement always comes at the right time, when I am ready to hit that like and move on.
I hate myself for succumbing to my curiosity but in the end I am pleased with my decision. A well balanced and informative piece once again!

I usually enjoy your videos but this one was disappointingly biased. His utter incompetence in business is never mentioned, even though that led to much of his later shady dealings.
The wording of his ‘the apprentice’ phase is misleading, suggests that he had a lot more to do with the whole thing than he really did. In other bios you normally give some insight to the person’s character, but in this case that subject is completely avoided. This video is bordering a propaganda film.

The Wharton School is just the name of the business school at Penn. Its not a separate University. Therefore he did have an Ivy League breeding.

Kudos. This is a very comprehensive look, for being under 20 minutes long, at a man's business career. It certainly has had many downturns in which others have gotten the short end of the stick, but the tenacity of the man who has become US president cannot be denied.
