With the type of person Maul was, saying that would most likely only add fuel to those flames within him. Of course, either way, Maul's mind was made up, and no amount of persuasion, whether of peace or force, would be enough to change a man with nothing left but his hate for those who took everything from him.
That would contradict with what Qui-Gon was trying to tell Maul. 4:10 , Qui-Gon asks him what he would achieve if he defeated Sidious, Maul refused to answer. While Maul can be more influential in the Galaxy by controlling the planets like Mandalore if Sidious didn't exist, still only Sidious is powerful enough to control the entire Galaxy, no Sith apprentices of Sidious was strong enough to replace Sidious's position as Galactic Emperor, if Anakin reached his full potential maybe only Anakin could replace him at full potential.
I honestly think Maul at one point was a sith but after he he didn’t hate the Jedi anymore. He hated obi wan. He hated the sith because of how he was treated as a nobody after everything he did for them. Season 7 I think was really telling about who maul was and who he became. I’m not saying he went full circle and walked the path of a Jedi but or the sith. But somewhere in the middle. He tried to warn the Jedi multiple times about what was to come. Even going as far as trying to build an army to possibly fight against the empire. “My army isn’t for what’s going on it’s for what will coming”. Do I think he was going to attempt to take down the sith for his own personal gain sure. But throughout the years he warned Jedi fought along the Jedi and at the time of his death asked if the Jedi would avenge him. Like I said he wasn’t a sith anymore and he wasn’t a jedi but I think with the years that came I think he was really just a broken man who knew the things he did and life he lived it wasn’t redeemable through his eyes but I don’t think he walked the path of the dark side as much after season 7 Clone wars and into his older years.
It wouldnt be surprising for Jinn to try fo help Maul. Jinn really did seem like a pure person. Giving Maul some form of doubt may have prevented him from somehow obtaining some power in there. It was very present until he was shaken up. It was as if the dark side sensed his doubt and deemed him unworthy.
Very rare. Qui-Gon was the first to be trained by the Force Priestesses, and he passed the knowledge to Yoda and Obi-Wan, who passed it to Vader, Luke, and so on.
@@Critic_Chris90210 I’d love a Darth Maul Series set between The Ending of Season 7 in “The Clone Wars” & The Season 2 Finale of Rebels. Him encountering Vader, and possibly killing some Jedi’s who never had a cannon death like Gungi the Wookiee from Clone Wars.
I'm all in for bad batch, rebels, and i like the new ahsoka epidsode with anakin, and the obi wan scenes with ohi ani together, but the rest is crap! I don't see how it can be new cannon when it makes no sense!
Only one minor problem. In Phantom Menace, after Maul killed Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan killed Maul by slicing him in half and Qui-Gon had not departed his body yet. What am I missing?
What path did Qui-Gon speak of? Did he really believe that Maul was ready to grow, to become more? I'd love to see Maul, take the road not often taken by Sith. In this I see the Force trying to help though Qui-Gon. Maybe Qui-Gon wasn't the best messenger for this...
“Canon”. Meaningless word in Star Wars now. Canon is what the individual fan makes it. It’s the only way to sustain your fandom. As far as I’m concerned, Maul died when he was cut in half. Bringing him back was just fan service.
Maul surviving was part of the story LONG before Disney. Lucas was in charge for all but the final Clone Wars seasons, so Maul's place there is part of Lucas' will. Additionally, Lucas' plan for the Sequels was for Maul being in total control of the criminal underworld, to the point of being a new galactic villain on the scale of Jabba the Hutt. His sequels featured the heros of the originals and their descendants, against Maul and his criminal empire. So Lucas had a LOT of plans for Maul after Phantom Menace. The Dark Side has long allowed for unnatural abilities to avoid or defeat death. Disney scrapped Lucas' scripts for the Sequels, but they're publically available to confirm this.
I loved the respect Obi showed him after they fought &Maul was killed. It made me tear up😢
1000% something he would do
Qui-Gon should've just told Maul to give up because he could never defeat Sidious
Not alone but if he turned Skywalker first

Would be nice to see Qui-Gon do the same with Dooku. 😉

He was Def a favorite character of mine. But I was a kid when the prequels were released

How rare is it for Jedi to become force ghosts I wonder? I know he also assisted yoda and obi wan as well!

Id love Darth Maul return in a Star Wars series, movie. 2nd favorite Sith lord behind Darth Vader😊

I’m going to miss star wars
I’m enjoying it. I love that we are currently getting weekly additions to Star Wars canon. It’s a great time to B a Star Wars fan.
@@pcb462 well the climate is a bit toxic I’m removing all Star Wars channels from my TH-cam feed lol

Several seasons of clone wars, rebels and the movie Solo.
Two hearts and a robotic lower half is the short version
Maul survived and returned in The Clone Wars.
hi
funny disney starwars will just crap out scenarios like this and call it canon
Yeah that’s how it works. Lucasfilm set a new canon. Stories published are part of that canon. 👍👍👍
😂 winners don’t take advice from losers.
1. Is it possible that Qui-Gon orchestrated the whole thing. Using a dark side nexus to call Darth Maul and have a chance to talk to him.
I mean, I suppose so. But Qui Gon doesn't really give off Sosuke Aizen vibes like that😂
Mad 👹 maul killed ,Qui gonn, like how ? 🚫 🤺

I'd pictured far more expletives and "wtf are you doing alive?"
Um, yeah. That's usually how they speak in the Star Wars universe.
@@davec2470Hey man people can surprise you
Training from who? I thought he figured it out by himself? I didn't read many canon books after Disney bought Lucasfilms so anything is possible
It’s explained the The Clone Wars show that he was taught by Force Priestesses

Also beneath the jedi temple

Nah, it was too wise to be Maul's hallucination.
I love this 💖
This is an amazing story and I true agree that he was there in the force. Thank you for this video.
Thank YOU for watching!
