pasig river has already been revived since late 2000's. It has a clean up drive that's taking place for decades already. I think the most polluted title is really misinforming.
BS that project started during duterte. The one you ,aljazera, made a lot negative news reports.
im in with making a road to ease traffic, I don't care if only 4% has cars, traffic is menacing in the Philippines
WORLD's MOST POLLUTING RIVER? ive seen enough rivers that is worse than that. Atleast that river isnt biologically dead and theres a lot of different animals in there, unlike that "sacred" river I saw somewhere where the smell is stinky and dead bodies are being thrown there.
NOW PASIG RIVER IS ALIVE AND VERY BEAUTIFUL..❤❤❤THANKS TO OUR FIRST LADY LIZA MARCOS AND OUR BRILLIANT PRESIDENT FERDINAND BONG BONG RUMUALDEZ MARCOS...MABUHAY PHILIPPINES❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
1990's piso para sa pasig, i remembered.
That last guy is one of the reason why its so hard for the Philippines to develop. He is only looking at the present but never tge future. I don't know if he is a communist activists but to me his way of thinking is clearly aligned with those Filipino Communist activists.
Pasig river cleanup has been ongoing for a decade or two already so bit by bit the govt is is reviving the river to its former glory. Its not the most polluted river in the world, you can look at the main rivers in India they are even more polluted than the Pasig river.
4%? everyhousehold almost own private cars, some even without proper parking
People should take care the environment either land watef or mountains. People are complaining but do your part also. In maintaining it.they should put garbage so that people will throw it there not in the river.
It's not even top 30 yet they called it the most polluting river
Very good
It saddened me that Pasig River is branded as " world's most polluting river" (as your caption indicates). Is this a fact? When it is true that it does received tons of waste throughout its 25 kms. (more or less) entirety, but I believe some world's big rivers that cross into capital cities are even worst. BBC Earth has episode which feature the Ganges River in India. Hope you can see it and compare.
1:46 Sorry, buy IRA CRUZ is lying. Most filipinos own transportation - car and most especially motorcycles. You will rarely find a household without transportation, because our infrastructure is underdeveloped.
Ex president Duterte has already revived the river. Marcos Jr. is just riding over what has been done
so many roads
Mga barangay na nakakasakop dapat makipag tulungan
The river needs to filter out the dirty water
I thought the world's most polluted river is the Ganges & Citarum.... Well at least the fishes are back in Pasig River - it's a good start.
Follow Singaporean way of clean up
this is outdated. the river is now much alive and there are alot of esplanades and fishes are back.
This river is already clean so change your caption for being the most polluted river...
Hope it works.
Wow@
Its disgusting and CRIMINAL that Governments allow this to happen.
That because it was started by former president DUTERTE! 👊👊👊💚💚💚
mga supporter ng mga politiko dyan. kaunting delicadeza at hiya huwag po ipahid sa inyong politiko ang karangalan San Miguel Corp. ang gumastos para linisin ang pasig. Salamat Po SMC at Ramon S. Ang
The historical river
That river still got many fish that people eat recently???
I don’t think it is more polluted than Ganges river.
About time to clean up ,London THAMES River was once a SEWAGE River
World’s most polluting river? You didn’t know Ganges in India then? Try and check that out if you have the stomach to do it.
"almost complete in cleaning up the river"
I don’t like going or going to dirty places in the Philippines, and the reasons also are because there are lots of flies and cockroaches in those kinds of areas, and also because that country has lots of pollution, and the Philippine government is not cleaning its country it seems like they don’t care about it, and they don’t kill all the pests insects in its country compared to Russia, other Europe, and other clean countries. There are no pests allowed, and they are probably killed by its country leaders or government like that.
THAILAND RIVER MODEL.. tourism
Yamuna and Ganges rivers are the most dirtiest river...
Dapat luminaw yan tulad kalinaw ng iniinom na tubig
It's so very logical that we have a plastic bag tax and a multitude of other relentless enviromental taxations in Sweden. The argument is that "Sweden are insipring other countries to follow our lead, we act as a roll model, that's why we tax you to oblivion" , meanwhile in Philippines 😂 Enviromental taxation is a big joke, climate change is being used to pass any new taxations that they otherwises couldn't find a way to justify.
Al-Jazeera? Make your news right.
