I guess we have come full circle, left the relaxers and creamy crack behind to go natural, just to return to sitting I remember half-day as a child- in a hot salon waiting for the marcel super flat press- and all the super pomades and potions we got mad at then, just to keep it that way. It seems what we ran away from, we’ve run back into! Ladies, our hair is indeed the most versatile, big and beautiful whichever way you style it, but is it really worth the return to all that time gone and heat?! Remember?😣✨
I mean all the truth and no lies! Been natural (frfr not fronting like all these folks) now for about 7 years. Discovered I personally like my hair short. And even more so I love not having any more hassles. My husband is happy with it. I'm happy with it. My schedule and freetime is happy with it. Errybody happy in my life. I go to a barber maybe once a month. Hes fantastic and is the only one who hasnt tried to pressure me to grow my hair out or question my femininity. I've had to tell people, "I was in labor without an epidural for 6 days, IDGAF if you think I look like a boy with short hair! I pushed a whole child out my body thank you very much!" I wish black woman would find peace in themselves outside of their hair and society's very whitewashed expectations of it! Anyways end rant. Do whatever you want to your body and hair but frfr why supposedly go natural only to be right back in bondage to all that mess you supposedly left behind??
@@ameenahsf With you, was there found an awesome barber too after I had my baby and whacked it all off for the second time of 4xs in my life- to do the short and sophisticated;)! Luvdd it then, lost my awesome barber to heaven, (was the only sister who dared go in there alone then- wasn’t scared- but the conversation surely did cease til I left- lol- they were trying to be respectful bless them - but that was the way that awesome brother ran his barbershop- old school! ♥️) More power to you missy, we all go through these “gates” of epiphany in our lives- freeing us to who we must ultimately grow into some day😌✨🙏🏽

Not necessarily, all 4c's aren't the same. I am not a person that sweats alot and when I do, it still takes a min for the hair to curl up. When the hair is heat trained (mine isn't but somewhat virgin) it will do the same - take a min to return to its coily state. At the end of the day, she got what she wanted. She's happy. That's all...
