In this film, we witness doctors bringing back the smiles of children in safe operating rooms, all thanks to the power of solar technology.
Random power outages are common in Tanzania and can last for many hours, which poses a danger to hospitals where operations are being conducted.
We recently produced a film alongside BBC StoryWorks, documenting the efforts by Smile Train and KidsOr.
Using solar-powered technology in innovative ways to mitigate the dangers of power outages in operating rooms. This partnership is saving lives and futures across the African continent.
