  • Buried around the middle of the 5th century AD, this hoard of Roman silver from Traprain Law in East Lothian is the largest known from outside the Roman Empire. In this video, Dr Fraser Hunter, Principal Curator of Iron Age and Roman collections at National Museums Scotland, discusses its significance.
Part of the Glenmorangie Research Project, Scotland’s Early Silver, exploring the use of silver in Late Roman and Early Medieval Scotland (AD 300-900).

The Celts exhibition was one I will never forget. Even though it was ten pounds to get in and I was struggling financially, I went twice.

What he refers to as early Christian Adam and Eve may not be so. The earliest version of the creation story is from the Greek in which Adam was Zeus and Eve was his wife Hera. Zeus' son was called Dionysus, the most beautiful son of god. For example the word "Elohim" in Genesis 1 is plural, "gods", translated from the original Greek referring to the Titans. The earliest version of the Septuagint is written in Koine Greek, not Hebrew.

Spoken like a true scholar, Jeyoung. And just what do you base your assertation on?
