Delicious ! We rolled our cookie dough balls in turbinado sugar, it gave them a nice crunch and glitter.

Just made these on a cold rainy Sunday afternoon. They are delicious! The only adjustments I made were to refrigerate the dough a little longer and bake them for 9 instead of 10-12 minutes so they’re a little soft in the center. Now I need to get them into the freezer so I don’t eat them all! Yum!

What beautiful cookies! I must confess that my only use of molasses has been to add it to a large feed bucket full of warm water and a hand full of crimpled oats, for which I gave to my horse to drink on a cold winter's day. I didn't want her to colic from lack of getting a good drink of water. I think I might just have to get some and make a batch of the sweet lovelies. Thank you for sharing this recipe and making this great video! Have a wonderful day! 😊💖🙏

I'm thrilled to see you have this recipe on your site! I'm going to add molasses to my grocery list and attempt to make these next week. I think i'll try adding some finely minced crystallized ginger to half the batter to see if that enhances or detracts.
Thanks for all you do. Your web site and TH-cam channel have been a great comfort, especially during the bleak months of 2020. Now that the New Year is well underway, may each day be a little bit better than the one before it. Cheers!

Hi Kevin. I've only recently discovered you're channel & am thoroughly enjoying watching & making the recipes. I have a lot of catching up to do however. I must comment specifically on the Molasses cookie recipe today though, great sugaring technique. I love Molasses cookies. Sounds like a great recipe. I'm going to try it. Using you're sugaring technique of course as I'm sure it's a necessary part of the recipe in making them so addicting. 😁. Thank-you Kevin. Keep bringing us you're delicious & most entertaining recipes & videos.👍

OMG....been craving these & can not find in stores anymore.
    Going to try them.
    Yum ! THANKS !
Cardamom is my favorite spice. I often add it to baked goods even when not in the original recipe.

This time your spoon matches your shirt! Do you do that on purpose?
PS I love all of your plaid shirts!

I'm planning lots of holiday cookie videos for the coming weeks. Gingerbread cookies -- or "gingerbread men" make me a little nervous because they require...decorating skills!

@@kevinleejacobs1364 There is no judgment coming from us. We would just like the recipe and no fancy decorating required. We like them plain too. Thanks so much.

Loved watching you making them, but who could eat all that butter and sugar.

Hey Kevin. Why baking soda, and not baking powder? I would think it might be a bit salty? I'm gonna try your recipe, and see what happens...

Does molasses ever get old even if refrigerated? Please advise. Thank you.
