I remember when I was studying in Russia 12 years back..Everyone in my uni be it Arabs/ Russians used to so obsessed about Ash..They always go gaga about her beauty ,dance, artistry,movies 💙 Her beauty is celebrated all over the world..She was the first Indian to be in cannes jury and the French government has honoured her for her contributions in arts and cinema..i go to any country and peole be like i love Aishwarya..I was so surprised by her popularity all around the world..i am taking about the times where no social media existed..She was the first person to put india on a global map..there may be 1000s deepikas and 1000 katrinas but there is only one Aishwarya 💗🌸✨️ ⭐️
You're right! She was the first actress to gain so much recognition even without the existence of social media. And even now she well-wishers all around the world more than any other actress. No one can match her level of stardom. And she deserves all of it and more as she has made it a cake-walk for all other actors and actresses having done everything (like being the first jury member at Cannes, doing a Hollywood movie, continuing to work efficiently after marriage and after having a child, etc.) before them and that too at a young age. Queen word will forever be synonymous with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

It is normal that the French government honored her since she made a big market for french cosmatics and their Brand products in India . Dont forget she is an ambassador of LOREAL PARIS . I have seen some people saying she looks "botoxed" now. Clearly these are those people who don't know how Botox really work. The fact is that audience can't accept their actors getting old, especially actresses. They're supposed to be always looking young and wrinkle free. I don't see Botox here but what I see is a happy woman with some wrinkles, with a good amount of body weight, who is feeling good about herself. U know she one of those actresses who has never changed her figure to be in the rat race, after being a mother. And also this lady has worked for about 25 years and is nearly 50 years old, what you expect her to look like. Let women be how they want to be. Stop all this nonsense.
You don't see botox here but most of us do. Botox gives every one a similar face structure around cheeks and that's so clear when she smiles. Her earlier smile was beautiful, this one she struggles to stretch muscles and it doesn't reach her eyes. Smile doesn't diminish with age, at 50, it would give lots of smile lines and wrinkles around eyes but look natural. This makes her look like a wax statue. There's nothing wrong in being old, she's a very beautiful woman. But this craze of puffed cheeks and lips is just weird

Cause botox is literally a snake poison which restricts you from making any expression. And by the way I have seen her in person, she has some wrinkles around eyes & have some smile lines. And that's fine. It's the make up that has made it look that way. @@Swapna9 For almost 4-5 months you cannot move your face, if you have botox. Not even a little bit, that's how Botox work. And why putting out a negative comment is necessary? Why is that even your speech? If you don't like it then move on, why to put out harsh comments. And like I said earlier, everybody's body is different. Suppose we both are at our 50s, we will still age very differently despite not doing anything to our face/body. And I'm not stopping people from putting out opinions. Aishwarya is the person who brought India to the global mainstream.. she was the one.. not Amitabh, Shahrukh, not even Satyajit Ray. If the west knows the word Bollywood today it’s because of her. She broke down the door for Priyanka & Deepika to walk through. She was so extraordinary that the west had to take notice. She is unique, there will be no one like her again. Deepika cannot carry herself like her or speak like her & Priyanka doesn’t have her genuine goodwill, empathy & sincerity.

Sigh. Here's a tutorial on how not to answer a question and get away with it. She ensures all her answers are as far from her personal experience as possible and forever close to a generic press statement. And I think she has done it so often, she's now on autopilot!
The moment you answer a question with personal bias, it opens the door to more personal questions, and the risk of revealing intimate information. And aishwarya is there for business as an actor and an ambassador. She’s not there for personal gain. It’s professionalism and diplomacy.
@@96Jazangel That I understand. It's not as if Anupama asked her for intimate details about her life and such (and I wasn't looking for those details, frankly). The thing is: She tends to keep references--that necessarily have to talk about her own work--out of answers that need that sort of detailing for her to prove her point.
For example, Anupama asked her how Cannes has shaped her as an artiste. Ideally, one would respond with examples that illustrate the shaping and moulding of one's own work. But well, no such luck here. Neither did she mention what level her work was at before Cannes nor what level it is at now after Cannes. You'll notice such specific examples don't make it into her responses at all.
Buzz words strung together, little substance and no charisma. Boring

That's for majority of bollywood actors even in her interview or just at this festival. Only people who spoke about their craft and films was Kamal Hassan and Madhavan, of course anupama asked them relevant questions. Is it because she knows actress can't articulate well enough and asks simple questions or is it just the actress themselves. If Kamal Hassan was on the jury one would be getting general knowledge about art films, world cinema etc... not deepika's half ass answers about jury role and critiquing films.

I'm so exhausted that she speaks so much but without saying much. I was looking forward to seeing more of her work, but her response to the last question is very hollow and disappointing. What the heck does she mean she wants to focus on reality and staying safe? Covid isn't going to go away, it's here to stay for many years. Are you going to use that excuse to sit at home? Your husband, father in law and mother in law are anyway going to work every day, so they still can contract the virus to you. So what exactly is your plan of staying "safe"? Her playing safe and being diplomatic makes her not only un-interesting but it seems she has lost her personality altogether. She comes across as someone who speaks too much but her words doesn't mean anything. I don't enjoy her interviews anymore. She has become shallow and stupid.

It all felt very phony, the effort to constantly maintain the accent is so visibly cringey, the pretend humility is suffocating too. if you edit out the words “energy”, “fulfilling”, “blessed”, “privileged” from this interview it will be half the length. Cmon! Be real for gods sake.

Phoney or not, at least she minds her own business and keeps herself out of drama. Yes she definitely puts on a good PR persona for the cameras but what’s wrong with trying to be diplomat. It would’ve not been ‘real’ if she was a completely nasty person off the camera by which all accounts is not the case. Why must everyone be a Kangana Ranaut.
Kangana is abusive. You don't have to be abusive to be real, big difference. Anupama's recent Interviews with Neetu Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh were some examples of people being candid without being abusive.
