I didn't have it at that time. I was still using the Garmin Zumo XT. At some point during the trip, the wiring got severed from the vibration and I couldn't use any GPS anymore. My buddy was in charge of navigation though.
Yes. Works really well. Unfortunately the connector broke (because of my poor soldering skills) on section 4 and had to use the cell phone for the rest of the trip.

I did replace it with an outdoor rugged tablet (Hugerock X70) though, but haven't really tested it on rugged terrain yet.
