BOTB Dream Car 20th May - 26th May 2024 + Revcomps

It's a miracle!! I made it into zone one of last week's BOTB Dream car spot-the-ball competition. Although to be fair, the judges couldn't really get this one that badly wrong. The judging seemed to be ok, all within a reasonable cluster.
We also take a look at this week's picture and the latest cars added to the Revcomps competition website.

Nice one Mart. I had 6 tickets including my free one, half of which were in zone 1 and other half in zone 2. Ironically my closest was my free bronze ticket, 3 pixels out on the height and 9 on the X. If only I had played the others in a tighter cluster around it 😂

Was super gutted. Was 6pixels from winning a G63 plus £50k and then 11pixels from a EQS plus £50k.
Glad to get closet cars though on them :) (although the real winner was closer to win the G63 lol)

I've still never had closest car. Been playing about three and a half years now 😒

@@martsworld I usually keep to like 2/3 tickets on a single car as more chance on spreading car options to get more closest cars, especially on the EVs as I feel many people avoid them (I’m currently driving an EV and have home charging etc so would still make a great win).
So far done ticket for Urus SE and DBX, can only dream 😂. If I won the G63 too I’d opt for the ev version

Back in zone 1 🎉 & 2. I was just a little to the right. If I had gone dead centre I would been very close.
This week’s picture, not sure if the player in red is looking that far out. Might be just to the left of blue bobble hat?

Remember I was 50 below the average? I moved 20 up. IDIOT
Would have been about 4 out. Oh well 😢
This week, a huge spread incoming.
For now I’m just to the left of you.
The question, as you say, is will some go higher, lower or both.
I suspect Red will be seen as looking higher, though old photos don’t agree.

why do you say they are not allowed to use a real picture with the ball removed ? surely its up to them how they run the competition.
Also zone 1 for me this week , wonder if they actually made a profit on the draw.

They have gaming rules and regulations to follow. If they use a real picture there's always a chance that someone could find the original picture and know exactly where the ball is so it's open to cheating.
They have a FAQ on the website which says:
WHY DON'T YOU USE THE ORIGINAL BALL POSITION TO JUDGE THE WINNER?
The basis of the game must be the skill of an entrant versus the skill of professionals - not versus the chance that the original spot on the football picture is picked. It is a subtle but important legal definition by which we are bound to operate.

I haven't looked at the pic since. I hear so many horror stories of people that were really close with their first thought but then moved somewhere else. I used to move mine all the time but now I'm nervous about doing it.

1 ticket on the low odds M4 for me this week with Revs. Zone 2 on BOTB was just a tad to far to the left.
