14:00 - Looking at our 4 home games. 4 wins from 4 wouldn't be absolutely ridiculous. It'd require one huge team performance vs Leipzig and for everything to go our way on the night. But the other 3 home games are very winnable matches. Football obviously doesn't work like that and just because the match is "winnable" doesn't mean you will win it. But I think something like - 2 wins & 2 draws OR 3 wins could be very possible. So 8 or 9 pts from our 4 home matches. We'd then just need one big result from the 4 away games to get us to the 11-12pt mark and comfortably through to the next phase. I think the 1st game is vital. Everyone is factoring in 3pts vs Bratislava when they're doing their predictions/projections for how we'll get on. If we come up short vs the Slovaks then I think we might struggle from there. But if we get off to a wining start and get some confidence.... We could have a very decent showing
Engels was purchased as much for his versatility as his prowess, imho He has played right,-back and on the wing as well as midfield. That is going to be very, very handy for the CL.
The manager debate is non starter. Martin O'Neill took us where the great one took us, a European final, yes we never won , but those memories will stay with me forever. Additionally, Sevco were Rangers at the time and were a team to rival us.
He also spent an absolute fortune, left us with guys in their 30s on astronomical wages, and didn’t get out a champions league group despite having one of the best teams in Britain. There’s definitely a debate.
@@ArthurSymington1 he left us with?? His wife had fuckin cancer. And HE never set the wages. And he never traded immortality for mediocrity. There's yer debate over
When hatate starts it will be against a team rodgers deems less dangerous. A team he thinks more able to counter attack he will use engels and bernardo. I expect hatate to start in first game on that basis
If we can get 9 points at home and pick up a couple of points away from home we have a great chance of progressing RB Leipzig at home will be tricky as they are great at the counter attack and Dortmund and Atalanta will be very tough tbh HH 🍀🍀🍀
Anyone got an idea of best place to park when going to a Celtic game? I’ve got tickets for Falkirk and used to park at an Asda about 10-15 minutes away. Can I still park there or is there better parking I can use? I don’t mind paying for parking either. Any help would be appreciated.
Why would he not play hatate in the champions league. I’d go with McGregor Engels and hatate. That is probably our strongest midfield. I think Celtic agreed with benfica to play Bernardo in these games last season. He’s our player now we don’t need to please anybody. Bernardo would be a great option off the bench or if someone picks up an injury.
I have no issues, international football is a worthless barometer. For example, Kyogo is deemed not good enough by the Jaoanese management team. As was CCV for most of his Celtic career.
Not going to lie, seldom does a celeb death put me up nor down, enough real problems to get too concerned by people I've never met, but that's a sore one. RIP Darth/King Vader/Musafa/Jaffe Joffer. I have no context for these teams beyond they had some success last season, if they are are not from a top 5 league, and their squad valuations at the draw. If they are not top 5 I likely don't know where we stand as a the best team in probably a lesser league or if they have been dismantled and/or recruited poorly in the intervening transfer window, don't know their styles of play, how they distributed their spend, form of comparative strengths and weaknesses or how our player availability and form and integration will sit when we meet each opponent so take the following with a massive pinch of salt: Sept 18th @8pm, Slovan Bratislava @home 21.35 v 106.75m ... 3 points please, my worry is new guys settling in and a bit of them camping in like an SPFL team Expected points tally: 3/3 Oct 1st @8pm, Borussia Dortmund away! 471.6m v 106.75m ... happy if we keep the loss low Expected points tally: 3/6 Oct 23rd, @5.55pm, Atalanta away. 434.1m v 106.75m ... a draw would be awesome Expected points tally: 4/9... maybe just 3 Nov 5th, RB Leipzig @home. 517.13m v 106.75m (pre-deadline day signings) won a watch if we get a draw Expected points tally: 5/12 ... maybe still 3 Nov 27th @8pm, Club Brugge @home. 136.85m v 106.75m ... after the new signing came in we aren't far off squad value-wise, narrow home win if the signing come on, settle and do well (no clue how good they are) Expected points tally: 8/15 ...maybe 6 Dec 10th @5.45pm, Dinamo Zagreb away 71.8 v 106.75m ... again, no context for their quality by their squad valuation on draw day, should be a win by that single (not nearly enough to make a real estimate btw) metric Expected points tally: 11/18 ...maybe 9 Jan 22nd @8pm, Young Boys @home 63.2 v 106.75m ... 3 points please, hopefully not too much negativity around the window please Expected points tally: 14/21 ...maybe 12 Jan 29th @8pm, Villa away 609.95 v 106.75m ... just by the top five league status and having spent almost 6 times more cash on their squad than us, it's a stretch to imagine points away in this on... most enthusiastic? Draw. Probably a loss. Expected points tally: 15/24 ... maybe 12 Got We got 5/8 of the best possible draw according to transfermarkt by squad value at the UCL draw, could have done with Shaktar Donetsk instead of Atalanta and Sturm Graz instead of Villa, I mean it's the Europa League winners AND a monied team from a top 45 league, counterpoint? We got the 2 least monied pot 1 teams and one of the 2 lowest monied teams in pots 2-4. Celtic 6-2 Rangers 27 August, 2000... what a great day I had. I assume. Ah, alcohol. The next derby? Not so much, slept in, got to the pub, we were already down as I fought my way through a packed pub to the bar, as I go there they scored again, seemed like I was the only Celtic fan in an Irish themed pub, Kirkcaldy's Kitty McGinty's. Nope! I just left, texted by bro to say I wasn't coming and grumbled as I played a video game with the game on low one the radio. TBH I was more upset my 'Irish pub' was over run by Huns than the scoreline I was used to in the EBT years. Special mention for BBC Radio Scotland slowly realizing our match against Man U meant we progressed past the UCL group stage on head-to-head scoreline. Good luck on the walk Stevie. Patter is great as always Bhoys. Sevco? " [We] are your father!", convince me you are listening Sevconian. Who's your daddy? HH

There was a train station in Parkhead, 5 minutes from East stand near Springfield Road, closed a long time ago….
Its a tired looking stadium because they don't spend any money on it only the bare minimum, I know this because I worked there

Puma and Guinness sponsor the six nations
A train train line goes right past CP, right where the turnstiles pub is. Get the station built.
Celtic will do OK in CL ....Keep believing
I would like a black and gold kit from Adidas and a white and gold kit before moving on from them.
Was thinking why don't you stick in a few adverts
Stevie talked himself out of a box of pies 🤣🤣
Adidas 🍀⚽️✅
Hatate is our best midfielder. He is worth more than Engels, why play Engels.
