I personally always liked the idea of the children of same-sex couples working a lot like the bond units. The bond between the two grows stronger and stronger, and out of that bond forms a child that is a mix of both of them.

I liked it. It's also really interesting to contrast Felicia and Flora, I doubt either of them would have chosen to be a Prince/ss' maid, but Flora is great at it but hates it, while Felicia is horrible at it but seems to really want to make it work. Although at least they both came to love Corrin in the end so it's not to terrible.

Honestly, most of the fan-made convos seem more genuine than the ones we have in-game... The relationships are built from the ground up instead of being based on 1 encounter/thing/generic-conundrum that is dragged over 3 ranks...
