Now, ESPN you can't hide behind that "too young to win" or "lack experience" excuses when almost all your pundits bar one or two had Arsenal winning this tie. No one mentioned their lack of experience during those predictions. You overestimated Arsenal forgetting in Europe this season before the Bayern game, they only had 1 away win, 1 draw and 2 defeats. Now, with a record like that, you absolutely must win your home games.
And I agree with Robbo. Celebrating that 0-0 against City never seemed right. In a close race or close tie, you want to be ruthless and beat your opponent. 0-0 kept City in the title race. Now they are top. 2-2 kept Bayern in the tie. A weakened Bayern by the way. And now they have knocked out Arsenal.
Arsenal took 4 out of 6 points from City this year. What are going on about? Be happy Arsenal got booted from CL. 😂

i dont think anyone needs to overreact. Both games were tight and bayern had the knowledge and experience their side even during a chaotic inconsistent season domestically. but it always comes down to the fact that the european competitions are just different beasts. Arsenal were lacking but i expect as a football fan, for them to push further next season.

It would be too simplistic to judge the favorite team based on the league form. Go back to when Gualdiola and prime Man City got knocked out by Monaco in the last 16 in 2017 and again eliminated by Lion in Quarter final in 2020. Those examples are by far not comparable to Arsenal being eliminated ny the second most successful team in the CL. We should be congratulating Arteta for the stride made

Bayern Munich's experience proved too much for Arsenal fans who had been arrogantly claiming victory all week. They were quickly silenced by the superior team.

Last summer we got Rice,Havertz and Timber and they have improved AFC now this summer im guessing Arteta will go for a proven goal scorer,a box to box midfielder and he sells a few players in the squad that are not good enough or are injury prone.

it takes time for a team to experience and learn how to play top European teams and 2 games a week. Arsenal will learn just like the other teams and the day will come. @@pelicanhill3251 isn’t this Timber first injury? Granted this one is significant but it’s not like he’s had a history of injuries. Arteta also created these holes by bad signings and/or not trusting the players he kept or signed. No way should Saliba or Saka have played these many minutes.
