When I hear this song, beautiful memories resurface. I can hear mama waking us up for church at 5 am. She was a single mother with 5 children and she made sure that we were always ready to leave out on time when the church bus pulled up. While riding to church we would hear this song every Sunday morning on 1040 AM radio station in Detroit. I always felt a sense of peace and comfort when I heard this song.
I didn't know this song, but it brings back Sunday morning memories from my childhood of my father singing as we got ready for church as a family. Only in my adult years have I begun to understand the gift of a God fearing father and mother. I pray that I've provided my children with a legacy of faith.

The good news is that God the Father sent His son Jesus (truly God, truly man) to come into the world, live sinless under the Law, die a substitutionary atoning death for our sins, rise from the dead, offer forgiveness & eternal life to whoever believes in Him. We can only be made righteous through faith in Jesus, not our good works. If you recognize your sin offense to a holy God, who will by no means ignore following through with justice on the guilty in Hell, then humbly call upon Jesus to save you and repent & believe this good news.
