When I was a crew chief in the field your hours where crazy long I enjoyed it but 12 hours was a blessing had to take oil samples many times at 2 in the morning then be ready to go at 5 am. or sooner. It was a long time ago I crewed a huey to give you an idea how long ago that was. Still had a great time and would do it again without hesitation.
Uh-60V Blackhawk is a beautiful helicopter, I want it to remain operational for many more decades, and must never be replaced by the useless defiant x.
I was an MLRS crewman. As an old man I look at helo crew chief videos and realize I may have made a mistake at the recruiter. Looks like a really great job.
You MUST be able to work in a team!! The crew is not a crew but a family!! Once our missions started (prep, preflight, mission, recovery) there was no rank among the crew, everyone on the crew had a stake in the mission. 15T is the best MOS!!!
@@m-jay356 I was an E-5 Gunner on an M-270 MLRS launcher. I think I would have traded wash racks with you. E-5s and E-6's covered in mud and soaked, I'd wreck the skin on my hands every time, it was kind of fun sometimes though.
i didnt qualify for it apparently, yet my contract for that SPECIFIC MOS is 6 years. i think if they change you of jobs they have to change the contract too. each job has a different contract period .
I dont know about the us army, but every aviation unit I heard about has on of the pilots as commander, 'pilot in command' as said, and holds all responsibility
If you like these videos, please share my content and support my channel so I can film more aviation related footage. Thank you for being here!

But every crew member has their own function and responsability. The pilot in command takes responsability for all the others.
