It will always be backed up, game grumps deleted a few random jon episodes, some of which were truly unpredictable, and there were backups for all. There is nothing to worry about if it comes down to it, just AH sacrificing ad revenue

The Xbox One/PS4/Vita versions of Minecraft come out in August. The Xbox One & PS4 versions will both have increased draw distances and drastically bigger worlds.

A very interesting and entertaining Let's Play! Kind of reminiscent of Mario Party in a strange way. I just hope the second part to this one doesn't take as long as Minecraft Monopoly.......
Also when Gavin explained his voice exclamation noises, I thought immediately that someone needs to do a Gavin soundboard.....there are too many Gavinisms for it NOT to be done!

People who are saying there playing on PC, actually is on the 360 because teleport was the new update for 360 and the crafting system is not like PC
plus it shows X for crafting and Y for inventory in the bottom left corner.

this is Achievement Hunter, you come to laugh and have a good time, not for 360 no scopes. Achievement Hunter is not, and will not be about the Gameplay; it is about them:Achievement Hunter, the people that if you let them, they'll make you laugh, or at least they always find someway to make me laugh. and even if you came for the gameplay (which you shouldn't have), this is pretty much a board-game, but in video form, which personally I enjoy quite a bit, so although it may not be 24/7 action, they cut out the parts of geoff setting up, and as someone that edits quite a bit, I appreciate how long it must of taken to do that. and really, if you don't enjoy it, leave... It's really that simple.

When I first clicked on this LP, I thought it was gonna be like a slaughterhouse-like tower where there are like 50 floors and every 5 floors, there's a checkpoint or something and each floor has a puzzle or a danger. You have to complete the puzzle avoid the danger to get to the next floor and the first person the reach the 50th floor wins. A few ideas could be something like as soon as you walk into the room, you step on a pressure plate and like 10 holes open up in the ceiling and lava pours out and you have to get to the door that's at the other side of the room. Hopefully they make something like this and I think a lot of other people would really enjoy it. :D

Did the video really have to be so short? They've made hour+ long lets plays before and now we have to wait a week for 20 minutes...
yes
They do so that they can stay ahead of the game and produce more videos for each recording. They filmed 2 weeks worth of videos in one recording giving them a lot more time to do more recording in the extra day they have. Geoff has been very smart in how he uploads content
This video probably took them a long time to edit, so they split it into two parts to help them stay ahead.
If you didn't notice this vid has alot of jump cuts between everyone's turn so that's a main part of why this was short.
And hell why complain? I waited a week for like 15 mins of content with Geoff's Tower two weeks in a row, so there is nothing to complain about with 4 other lets plays a week.

They could have let Geoff compete in this one and had someone else do the work behind the scenes between each round. They could've also done a tunnel beneath the chests and had the person be hidden below ground and it would've seemed so smooth and seamless, regardless a good little let's play even if it isn't the most action packed one

They play on PC again. I watched the horses and space lets plays and are probably one of their best Minecraft Let's Plays.

***** to be fair pretty sure they played the mod back when it was still WIP. So he really had no control over the bugs and crashes since it wasn't a stable version. That being said i imagine the server wasn't the difficult part as much as teaching them how to play it when he himself just picked it up.

Yes, RT/AH has a worldwide fanbase that loves them. However, as things continue to grow, they reach a critical mass point, where it becomes is popular to bitch and complain about it.
UnholyTrooper I guess i've just been fortunate to never see a lot of the hate (aside from the odd hate towards jack for "bullying gavin" in the minecraft lets play's). Kind of a shock to see actually how much hate these guys actually get.

Used to be pretty much just the bandwagon of Jack hate, every so often someone would bitch about ads and call them sellouts, there was a bit of Ryan hate in the beginning, then somewhere along the way it kicked in to overdrive. People were bitching about videos not being up when they expected them, videos being too long, videos being too short, bitching about any content on the Let's Play/AH channel that featured other RT employees, then the Kerry hate train, and now the out of control snowball that is Lindsay hate. It's all boiling over because the youtube comment section is largely a cesspool of hate and idiocy that grows to think it's cool to hate on the people giving them free content to enjoy, and as the channel continues to grow in popularity, so will the hate because it's all some of these people get enjoyment out of.

Minecraft Episode 52: Shopping List Part 1 ends with Ryan about to kill Gavin and people laughing. A year later, Minecraft 104: Enter the Negatower Part 1 ends seemingly with Ryan about to kill Gavin and people laughing. In short, it is genuinely great that Achievement Hunter is still fundamentally the same after all this time.
I had an idea for a let's play similar to this, but I Nega thought they'd do it.

This is one of those let's plays that is a really boring premis, but is absolutely hilarious because it brings out their individual personalities more. This is already one of my favourites just like I Spy and Fuel.
