This album was so important to me back in 80s!!! It's still one of my favorites of Ozzy. I love you Ozzy and thank you so much for the music you have given ALL of us!!!!!!!!
Too say Jake was 2nd or 3rd best of Ozzy Osbournes guitarist is like comparing Nikola Tesla, Einstein and Edison. Bottom line is if you were not a virtuoso you didn't PLAY with Ozzy! My favorite is Randy
I have to say I'm very impressed by Ozzy's Osbourne's seemingly perfect pitch. They didn't have pitch correction software in those days, so everything you hear is just pure talent. Why do people say that Ozzy is not a good singer? Are they deaf??
sha broussard Dio is a better singer in regards to skill and technique. I love Dio’s voice, but I will always love Ozzy’s more. There is something about his voice that draws you in, even if it’s not the most polished nor trained.
Why would you be impressed by an Ozzy studio performance where he can do take after take? Go watch the US Festival performance from '83 where Ozzy is singing live w/o any post-production doctoring on his vocals - he is pitchy all over the place.
One thing Ozzy always had was a guitarist who had the slamminest hooks you ever heard. I didn't know who Jake Lee was but this hook got me hooked. Play it Jake.
Jake E Lee is an awesome guitar player in my opinion... He did a very good job on the two albums he did with Ozzy in spite of what people might think or are saying.... then he came out with his own band Badlands and was even better now he's with the band Red dragon cartel .. Jake E Lee will always be one of the best guitar players around the world.. EVER!!! STAY FROSTY MY HEAD BANGERS 🤘🤘
This is one of Ozzy's best albums by far the hooks, melodies and that guitar! I'd put this right behined DOAMM and BOO. Jake was/ is a fantastic guitarist. After Randy the best Oz ever had.
I love batm & tus albums as I grew up with them as my first ones. Jake is so insane here which if you think about is crazy cuz Ozzy had the brakes put on him since the beginning, imagine if Ozzy hadn't slowed him down & let him loose from the beginning.
This song...omg...nothing like seeing it live. Holy shit. Jake E. Lee. Brilliant guitarist who unfortunately was always compared to the irreplaceable Randy Rhoads. Tough to follow who was quite possibly the greatest guitarist ever.
Not to take anything away from Zakk Wylde or Randy Rhoads but Jake E. Lee was the frigging best!! At the VERY LEAST, he was the bridge between Randy & Zakk. One could say that Zakk adapted to the sound and made it his own, (which he certainly did), but without Jake E. Lee - could Zakk have done what he did? Praise to Jake E. Lee!
How about that drum fill at about 3:28? Just awesome. I’ve only come to love the 80s Ozzy in the last couple months. I was just a little kid when this came out. Thanks TH-cam
I know diehard Ozzy fans prolly didn’t love this album but it’s my fav. He changed just a little to become more appealing to a greater audience and that included me . Same with Whitesnake , Priest and others . For me , they did their best work in the 80’s . What a great decade for Rick n roll music .
My favorite Ozzy guitarist. Sad thing is Ozzy talks about the past with Randy and how gifted he was . However, he never shares that about Jake in interviews and Jake was just as good, and an individual.
Ozzy did mention once that Jake was easily just as good as Randy, but they never had a good relationship. Ozzy also almost never talks about that period with Jake, it seems he doesn't want to, maybe because he was such a mess during those years.
I know that this is the Jake E. Lee fan page, but in Ozzy’s autobiography he only makes three references to Zakk Wylde, who has been his guitarist for 20+ years and got fired because he was starting to get too big of a following. In fact, when Ozzy introduced the band in 2019, he said about and “and this guy”. I know it wasn’t in a bad way, but saying that everyone already knew who he was. And Zakk calls him and Sharon mom and dad. Just saying, yes Jake got treated bad, but Zakk didn’t have it super easy either.
@@jeffreynolds9728 I thought he and Zakk had a good relationship, now you made me kind of sad if that is true. Gonna listen to Hangover Music Vol.4 now

4:36 that guitar needed a cigarette after that. Also at 4:44, when I say that Jake E. Lee’s guitar playing transcends his era, THAT’S HIM TUNING HIS GUITAR ON THE FLY, and every. Single. Time. He would do crazy shit like that, he would mail it dead on. He was an engineer almost like EVH was. He didn’t just play guitar. Jake changed his guitar. 4:56: he hits a harmonic note, then bends the string behind the nut at the end of the guitar neck, which makes him be able to bend the string without killing the harmonic ringing.
I hate how Ozzy hates the Ultimate Sin album. Personally its my favorite Ozzy album. Its fucking terrific. Jake E Lee. best Ozzy guitarist ever

This album was so important to me back in 80s!!! It's still one of my favorites of Ozzy. I love you Ozzy and thank you so much for the music you have given ALL of us!!!!!!!!
Jake E lee enough said.
Are they deaf??
sha broussard
Dio is a better singer in regards to skill and technique. I love Dio’s voice, but I will always love Ozzy’s more. There is something about his voice that draws you in, even if it’s not the most polished nor trained.
Great singer - wrote every melody on all those records
Why would you be impressed by an Ozzy studio performance where he can do take after take? Go watch the US Festival performance from '83 where Ozzy is singing live w/o any post-production doctoring on his vocals - he is pitchy all over the place.
@@michaelschmidt9708 Because he sounds fucking good, that's why.
They just don't appreciate his distinctive voice so the hell with them! Ozzy rules!
Bought this cd in San Antonio Texas. Listened to it all the way to El Paso Texas on a grey hound bus
One thing Ozzy always had was a guitarist who had the slamminest hooks you ever heard. I didn't know who Jake Lee was but this hook got me hooked. Play it Jake.
jake e lee is awesome!!
Every Ozzy guitarist is in a league of their own, but I think most Ozzy fans agree that Jake was the best.
Best song on this album!! Such a killer riff/ rhythm to this song!! Jake E Lee was his best guitarist by far!! Miss these days!!
It's obvious Ozzy is no actor. But sure is a true rock star..
This is one of Ozzy's best albums by far the hooks, melodies and that guitar! I'd put this right behined DOAMM and BOO. Jake was/ is a fantastic guitarist. After Randy the best Oz ever had.
Yep it’s #3 on my list too
I love batm & tus albums as I grew up with them as my first ones. Jake is so insane here which if you think about is crazy cuz Ozzy had the brakes put on him since the beginning, imagine if Ozzy hadn't slowed him down & let him loose from the beginning.
I Love Jake E Lee tone on this album and his playing is smoking hot one of my fav Ozzy albums
one of the best albums in rock history. I didn't know Bill Hader played bass for Ozzy.
This song...omg...nothing like seeing it live. Holy shit. Jake E. Lee. Brilliant guitarist who unfortunately was always compared to the irreplaceable Randy Rhoads. Tough to follow who was quite possibly the greatest guitarist ever.
Both are excrtional guitarist. I met jake E before a Badlands show such a great guy and talked with us for 10 minutes.
@@meyou9176 That's awesome.
Thanks
Not to take anything away from Zakk Wylde or Randy Rhoads but Jake E. Lee was the frigging best!!
At the VERY LEAST, he was the bridge between Randy & Zakk.
One could say that Zakk adapted to the sound and made it his own, (which he certainly did), but without Jake E. Lee - could Zakk have done what he did?
Praise to Jake E. Lee!
Great album! Ozzy always seems pull in the best player's in the game!
Blizzard and Diary are Ozzy’s most famous albums but Bark at the Moon and The Ultimate Sin are just so kick ass
The king of metal!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
He is one of a kind. I admire his strength and his love of rock. He has led so many of us into his world. He is one of the best!!
I met jake E before a badlands show. What a great guy we talked with him for 10 minutes
Jake was very underrated, my favorite Osborne axe 🎸 man
Love how pronounced the bass is!
Ozzy has a great stage presence and obviously loves preforming!
I notice the same exact thing!
I love Jake's guitar licks from 4:35. At the cd version you can hear the taping at the end in video.
I've seen Ozzy live with every one of his guitarists 1980 ish - present, and this guy stood out proud from the rest,
No better judge than someone who was actually there. Hope all is well👍
That guy with that blue guitar killed it😎🎸🎸Rock On Ozzy your band Rocks🤘🤘
He is just not "that guy". His name is Jake E. motherfucking Lee. Legendary guitarist next to Randy Rhoads
Ozzy proved he could roll with the changes. Mid 80s glam rock was big but he nailed it. Jake was great too!
He should thank his musicians for that. Jake and Daisley carried his ass through the 80s and made him what he is.
@@fistoftulkas7335 He always surrounded himself with great musicians look at Tony Geezer Bill and Randy of course.
God father of heavy rock music history ozzy
We all know Ozzy is the best!!!!!But how come he always got the best guitarists in his band???Ozzy is gonna live for ever!!!!Love you Ozz!!!!!❤
Ozzy has been blessed with amazing guitar players. Randy , Jake , Zakk all amazing in their own right.
Jake is my favorite Ozzy guitarist.
How about that drum fill at about 3:28? Just awesome. I’ve only come to love the 80s Ozzy in the last couple months. I was just a little kid when this came out. Thanks TH-cam
⚡️In Heavens 🕯️and Earth⚡️
Best guitarist Ozzy ever had !
One of my favorite Ozzy Osbourne songs!!! I think back then is when he looked the best!! 😊🤘♥️
was very sexy in the 80s still now as well he is just older now yes.
I know diehard Ozzy fans prolly didn’t love this album but it’s my fav. He changed just a little to become more appealing to a greater audience and that included me . Same with Whitesnake , Priest and others . For me , they did their best work in the 80’s . What a great decade for Rick n roll music .
Awesome awesome
Gonna listen to Hangover Music Vol.4 now
@@MantraHerbInchSin he and zakk does have a good relationship its just that ozzy and sharon especially can be a bunch of dicks sometimes...mostly sharon
🙄 Randy died, that's why.
And they were really good friends.
Apparently lightning does strike twice. Ozzy was able to work with two of the best guitarists ever in Randy, and Jake.
Top 5 Ozzy songs
The guitar work on this whole album is flawless!! 🤘
OZZY IS NUMBER ONE 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
@2:36 Ozzilla fixing to spark the city !
Where would Rock n Roll and Metal Music be without Ozzy, !!
Hail Ozzy !!
One of his best albums
